Waking up, to ash and dust.
I wipe my brow and sweat my rust
I’m breathing in the chemicals

Late the previous solar cycle, a message came through to Frontiers Corps headquarters. A team had gone missing. They were exploring a solar system in the space Rimward of both the Silver Sanctum Coalition and the Primeval. There is a sector out there that has many planetoids that have been a curiosity for some time. The worlds are of varying sizes and climates, but the one we’re looking at?

This is the fifth moon in one of the seconds, she is a green gem, a forest world. Mostly deciduous trees and conifers, nothing too exciting. No bears. But there was a massive instrument reading that went off. Someone was doing something down on the world. A Forerunner-class frigate had found the world, but the Corps had lost contact with the ship. Forerunners are designed to be able to land on a planet and are equipped with the weaponry needed to create a landing zone.

Your vessels will have the option to land, unless you are launching from another vessel of the Frontiers Corps. They will be sending shuttles to the surface, as the pair of Forerunners sent to this mission are going to be orbiting with some weapons swapped out for tractor beams. The Corps does not want to lose anyone they send planet side. You will have time to check out the landed ship, and it is strongly recommended you start there.

From there, we will discuss what you find. Where you may be interested to go. And what lies in wait beyond the trees. The ship will remain on the planet, however, the Corps is dispatching several tugs to bring her home, where she will be taken to a shipyard and investigated. The only things the Frontiers Corps knows about the world is there is extensive tech, and an atmosphere that experiences odd fluctuations and uneven gas and vapor distribution. The world? She’s green. She is full of coniferous and deciduous forests. Mountains, lakes, and rivers make up that which isn’t covered by foliage.

She had launched from the Void Runner, bringing with her a singular sweet item. Yes today Vassara was clad in a prototype power armor Mechanical servos at the joints, durasteel plating, and a nueral band. It was all part of a plan for a brand new armor system she wanted to create. This one was a bit bulky, but it gave her momentous speed and strength.

Two power packs were affixed to the back. It fit like regular gray durasteel armor, tight to her frame and with plated exterior. The ramp of her shuttle dropped, and she stepped off, mighty armor making a slam in the dirt as she strode down into the soft soil....

"Captain Raxis here, looks like I beat you guys planetside." She joked, letting her message go across the Frontier Corps channels

"That is not always a good thing." Her voice was softer and standing there on the shuttle as it was launched from the pressor catapult towards the planet to land the jedi smirked a little. Keeping her two blades on her hip and disc saber on her thigh of the lightly armored pants and tunic. Her robes gone for now revealing the one armband with its energy shield while her utility belt wrapped around her shoulders, waist and thighs with more compartments then she should ever need. Heading down to the planet her attention was on meditation to sense what was down there and... well she wasn't fully certain if it would work how she planned but practicing those abilities she had been taught would possibly help her stretch them and get better.

That was the nice thing about the Frontiers Corps. Jobs and ‘missions’ were open ended. They were broadcast out to the Silver Sanctum, for both the Force using and non-Force using populations. You could help out with a mission without the full fledged position, though, being part of the Corps, like Coren was, did have its perks. Free ships, a crew, and the funding to explore and research that which you wanted to. That was what the lead Starchaser enjoyed about it. The was what the Event Horizon was, and more specifically, Scout, as the latter followed him, and the former was positioned on the Blood Trail construction.

More specifically, we were going to talk about the world in question. Unnamed aside from a designation that was assigned to a listening beacon outside the world. TW-1138X. Temperate World, experimental. The Forerunners were continuing to do sweeps around the planet and would soon provide locations for the spots of interest. Until that point the mission was to secure the Forerunner on the surface.

“Roger that, Captain. Please proceed to.” The name of the ship was some obscure member of the ExplorCorps of old. “We are looking to see if we can discover any information on the crew. Same for you, Ike.” The mission commander was an older Ithorian, and was patient, but did want to get this piece done. The rest of the trip would be free game, with some direction, to throw a wrench in anyone’s plans.

Not a bad wrench, but make sure you check your air.

Matsu bowed her head in understanding and agreement as she was looking down and focusing on herself. The actions of her body to strengthen it and the force signature slowly letting it go away as she focused on shrinking it with her eyes closed. Her fingers running over the ship before she was arriving. Slowly moving to head out and wrap the illusions around herself with her eyes looking out and searching. "Understood. I'll search for information." She had some trainign to try and do that but practicing it was needed more often as she was moving slowly and with a deep focus on her face. Matsu listened edging slowly to the ship while she was trying to get in and not break the ship before she found a damaged viewport sliding herself through. Matsu started walking around to search stumbling upon a blocky case she kicked open showing a triangular shape and lifting it up. "Well alright then." Matsu sai it while walking and letting her eyes flick around the area feeling the unease from what was in her hand as she slid it into the satchel from Akure and felt nothing new going to her mind and body.
