The knee-high grass of Arkinnea brushed against her boots, leaving light yellow marks on her pants as she walked through the fields. Noticing the sky above her was starting to darken with the rain that had yet to come. She paused for a moment to unbutton her collar, enjoying the fresh air around her with a pleased smile, eyes following the contours of the rolling hills as she watched wind sweep across the plains.

The silence here felt odd to her; on Dromund Kaas, the air had been filled with the sounds of artillery and the lingering corruption of the Dark Side, bombarding her mind with dark thoughts of surrender. Aboard the Prosperity, she could still hear the cries of Jedi being slain and the pleas of refugees trapped behind doors she could not open without risking her life. She would have gladly helped them, but the Force had other plans for her at that moment.

She reached into her side pocket to grab the data pad, reviewing the file again to remember where the Hidden Temple was located. She could hardly believe her ears when her fellow Jedi mentioned a place untouched by the Dark Side, where no Sith had ever set foot. It comforted her to know such a place existed, especially with the refugee population scattered across the plains.

Sian adjusted her pack strap, her thumb lightly brushing the cold hilts of her lightsabers on her belt. What now? she wondered as she continued along the trail. She had been a great warrior and still was, but was that all she was meant to be, just another pawn in the galaxy's endless war? She despised that feeling but recognized that the force sent her here for a reason and it was her responsibility to find out why.

By now, one would think Starlin was used to Leviathan having a mind of its own. He had woken up in completely different sectors of the Galaxy from where he had fallen asleep, half way across the map, with no recollection or understanding of how. Even Jasper Kai'el Jasper Kai'el 's brief explanation on the unnamed desert world had not been enough to make sense of it, in fact the Jedi's solution had been for him to shelve the ship until he had a better understanding.
Of course, Starlin only had one ship; he needed it to get him back home.
Eloise Dinn Eloise Dinn had shared the coordinates to his homeworld, Zaathru she called it, but the journey there had been far from smooth sailing. He'd been well on his way though, deep within the Unknown Regions, when he woke up to the starmap informing him that he was "in the Axion Sector? What do you mean we're in the Axion Sector, Pluto?" He let out a long groan as the pilot droid confirmed it. "We're further from home now than we were a week ago!"

Starlin might not have known much about this Galaxy he had emerged into, but he understood that they were on the opposite side of the Galaxy from where they were supposed to be. "Find a breathable planet, I need to stretch my legs. Damn ship."
So it was that the young aspirant came upon Arkinnea and the ruins held within. He had not meant to find them, of course, he'd simply set off walking away from the treacherous ship and stumbled across them. The swelling music he had come to associate with the guidance of the Force was leading him on, and against his better judgement he decided this time to follow it.
That was how he came across the hidden temple, one foot in front of the other and the will of the Force. The would-be-Jedi wandered the ruins in search of any indication as to why the Force had urged him that way. Something inside was calling out to him, he just had to find out what.

Sian was almost at the Hidden Temple when the sky opened up above her. Rain fell heavily, accompanied by distant rolling thunder nearby. Sian sighed in frustration, pushing wet hair from her forehead as the moisture soaked through her clothes, pressing her fur against her skin. Her eyes scanned both sides of the barren trail, spotting a heavy flat rock resting on the nearby bank.

She used the force to lift it over her head, planning to use it as a shield against the downpour while she trudged through the muddy stretch of road ahead. As the stone archway came into view, the force seemed to warn her as she neared the outer edge of the temple complex.

After a minute or two of trying to focus the force around her, she felt relieved that for once the dark side was not responsible for her uneasy feeling. It lacked the usual heaviness she expected, presenting a distinctly different presence she couldn't quite explain. She tossed the rock into the mud, wiping her hands on her pants as she entered the main entrance to escape the rain.

Inside, the air was much cooler, but cracks in the walls showed decades of neglect. With no light source available, she took her lightsaber from her belt and activated it. The green blade illuminated her surroundings as she walked forward on the flagstones beneath her feet. Her mind was still troubled by her lack of purpose, but for now, she needed to concentrate on the mission ahead.

Starlin was inside the main body of the ruin when the heavens opened up and rain thundered down from the sky. He actually paused to look out of the window, eyes wide with awe. Being raised in a desert meant rain was a very rare occurrence, water was a vital commodity, and where others shied away from it he embraced it wholeheartedly.
Of course, it helped that he was able to manipulate water so freely.
Cracks in the roof and walls made for a light sprinkling of rain in the atrium, and the boy approached it and spread his arms wide, drawing back his head so his face was toward the flurry of droplets. He had half a mind to head outside, it could be very grounding after all, but the music grew more incessant and demanded his focus.
"Fine" the boy huffed to seemingly nothing and no one. "But it better still be raining when you're done with me."
Reluctantly, Starlin turned and headed deeper into the hidden temple complex.

Sian ventured deeper into the temple complex, pausing by a stone wall to feel the raised details of the murals. Her fingers followed the rough contours of the ancient temple and its nearby structures, sensing the deep grooves where moss had begun to settle. She stepped back to take in the mural as a whole, her gaze lingering on the stone figures carved into the rock.

It took her longer than it should have to look away, a quiet realization dawning in her chest that becoming a Jedi was the sole reason she was here today instead of having her story end years ago in a Devaronian gutter. The strange presence in the Force intensified as she turned and moved further down the hall.

The force guided her to a narrower part of the entrance, where her eyes landed on Starlin Dinn Starlin Dinn in the distance, close to some large cracks in the stonework that were letting rain pour in. The heavy drops fell onto the old flagstones before it drained into the cracks of the shadows below them. As she got closer, the green glow from her saber outlined the figure standing right under the stream of leaks.

However, he had vanished by the time she arrived, and she looked down the corridor where he had gone. She was unaware of his identity, only that he was in a Jedi Temple that was thought to be deserted. She had become used to the idea of treasure hunters, and if he happened to be one, she would draw her other saber and eliminate him for trespassing.
