Question What accent/voice do you picture your character having?

[Hava'ssi Crow]

I was thinking about Hava'ssi's voice, and I wandered: I know that Twi'leks are known to have french accents in Star Wars (George Lucas's idea), so what accent and pitch does your character have?

Example: Hava'ssi has a voice that is not quite lower register, but not high, either. I would say that he rolls his 'r's, like most dialects that come from warmer regions.

Sibylla sounds exactly like Elizabeth Bennet from the movie Pride and Prejudice. It just fits her so well in her speech and how she talks that just works so well for her.

Pride and Prejudice is fire, and I agree. A british accent looks perfect for your character!

Jonyna sounds like Kimberly from Power Rangers.

That's the voice I gave her years ago and just never felt like changing it.

Based on the planet he's from, Ronhar probably has something close to an American Midwestern "Blue Collar" type accent, tbh

I imagine Adelle's voice to be like either Commander Shepard's or the one time Jennifer Hale voiced Samus (Metroid Prime).

My Mandalorian OC, Minerva has this kind of voice and accent(Toph all grown up);

[Skadi Lightbane]

For Skadi, definitely a more Nordic style accent (she's basically the SW version of a Viking, and her species/race is heavily based off of the Norsemen). Her inspiration (and voice more than likely too) is based off of Lagertha from the TV show, Vikings.

Amalia probably sounds somewhat like Christine Auten, who did the dub for Esdeath in Kill la kill

Tertius C. Nargath sounds more like Oscar Isaac (especially his calm Duke Leto I timbre)

The Lord of Hunger has 3 voices effectively for each state
-Perfect state would be D.C. Douglas (the real wesker voice after all)
-Armored state is Shō Hayami (japdub sousuke aizen from bleach)
-Decayed state is Jared Harris (moriarty in SH game of shadows, or the professor from Chernobyl)

Dima these days tends to sound more like this. She's matured and grown up, not that sweet lil she-devil she used to be lol.

For Shan I used Adam Howden mostly as Shulk, but I think Anders from dragon age also works

Reina is meant to be Ciri from Witcher 3. Haven't really thought of one for Phillip or Neriah yet

Fenn speaks like Connor from AC3, which Preliat is based off of. Low, slow, violent words.

Wedge sounds southern, Georgia southern, in his words.

Nej is definitely a flat American accent. Midwestern, maybe.

Feydrik is French-Canadian.

Atham is a snoody British elite.

I haven't given a voice representation or accent to many of my characters, over the years, but here's some where I have:

For Rik, It's the actor who's his playby/the basis for his images — Brant Daughterty

Jannik Morlandt initially had a rather thick scottish-inspired accent, and the way I used to write it, some people couldn't understand him... just like real life, lol, but that mellowed for OOC and IC reasons, over the years

I briefly wrote Izaszh Zambrano for all of maybe two posts in 2017, but her voice was Nicole Blackman. If you've heard of Nicole... well, can we be friends? XD

Ajinar Djo's accent is inspired by the fact that on my very first SWRP forum, the community had made out the Hapans to have french accents. So, that's Aji.

Now, I'd never really given Lucianus Adair a voice or accent for all the time I'd written him in the past, but he's been on my mind a bit, and I'm seeking out possibly writing him again. I think Anthony Howell is quite suitable, at this point.

Pretty much any of my other characters, just look at the face claim (ESPECIALLY Michael Angellus ) for Omega Squad, they sound like Dee Bradley Baker voicing The Clones but with an American Accent.


As for Connel, since his runin with Darth Kizash back on Vendaxa and 2/3 of his body are cybernetics, it has become painful and difficult to speak so when he does, it short in a deep gravelly voice
