What a Stunning strike! (Open to Faction)

Yuroic walked into the training room, wearing his dark green robes. His hand scratching the back of his head as he looked around the room, it was his first big class as a Jedi Master. He was slightly nervous as he rubs the back of his neck, Yuroic wanted to calm his nerves and focus on the plan he had for the class.

Force Stun, it was a good move that freezes an opponent and gives the user a chance to deal a deadly strike before they are able to regain control of their body. It was also a chance to freeze an opponent and organise a strategy. It was curious to see how many would turn up for the lesson.

Yuroic stands in front of the class and looks around, taking in a deep breath.

Aurelion was more than a bit surprised as the doors to the training room whooshed open before him and he saw.... one man. Blinking his singular eye Aurelion, as nonchalantly as he could, leaned back outside the room to check that he had the right number. He.... did. Blushing softly at his own unsure nature Aurelion awkwardly slid into the room, standing alone before the rather intimidating-looking Master who would be teaching the class. Aurelion didn't mean to seem rude, if he had, he was just silently surprised that there weren't more people here to capitalize on the opportunity to learn, or hone, such a universal technique as this. From his very basic understanding of what Force Stun was supposed to accomplish it seemed like one of those 'easy to learn; hard to master' techniques. Unless he was mis-remembering he was fairly certain he had even read some stories where particularly powerful Force wielders could stun entire squads of enemies with a single gesture. Aurelion's chest tightened at the prospect, as he could hardly perform a simple Force Push without nearly knocking himself over.

Shaking his head softly Aurelion stood, front and center, before [member="Yuroic Xeraic"] and laced his hands behind his back. He was nervous, understandably so to his own mind, and was torn between hoping that someone else showed up soon, or no-one did. Granted, he thought to himself, it was incredibly selfish to hope no-one else showed up but even so.... his stomach churned at the prospect of embarrassing himself publicly. At the same time being alone with the man, whom looked as if he could tear the ears off a Gundark, was equal parts reassuring and nerve-racking. On one hand Aurelion was confident he could perform better in a one-on-one scenario, on the other that would mean his every mistake, every flaw, would only be more easily recognize and criticized. While not a bad thing, at least if he wished to improve, the very... personal criticism of himself as an individual student rather than as part of a larger class was enough to cause his jaw to tighten just a bit in trepidation. Deciding to take a brief step outside his own mind, and a much deserved one at that, Aurelion bowed to Yuroic. His angular, young and tense face struggling to relax as he murmured a respectful.

"Hello, Master."

Tricia Kalamack

Sleeps all day.... yawns all night
Sounds... noise.... people.... her eyes opened half lidded as the jedi master looked 'up' seeing people in the room she was sleeping in. Days had gone and started to blend again... she preferred it, a lifetime for the humans... several lifetimes worth of sleep presented to the order and.... dear god they were still here. She rolled over and onto her stomach along the stone. Feeling the silky material that had been enhanced with the force, songsteel chains and her ankle length black hair with streaks of white flowing throughout. She descended and hovered there sitting with her legs crossed and arms over her stomach. Slender fingers and eyebrows raised as se took in what was happening and a class... that would mean more people maybe... meh leqaving would require her likely to walk and that might break one of her hip. She'd stay and listen... maybe join in when she didn't speak just shifted herself to lay on a small bed of telekinetic energy causing distortions underneath her.

The class was not as large as Yuroic had initially hoped but having a student was better than having no one to teach. He was glad that the lesson caught someone's eye at least. Force Stun was a move that most Jedi learnt early on, whether they practised it to higher levels of Stasis or Stasis Field was a separate point. Facing the Padawan, he gave a warm smile to them. "Force Stun is a move that deadens a person's senses and stops their movements. You are placing an opponent in a somewhat catatonic state temporarily. It can be tricky to understand and use initially but you should get the hang of it by the end of the lesson, especially as this will be a one on one class."

Yuroic was about to begin his class when he was interrupted by some Jedi apparently waking up in the training room. Who would sleep in a training room, knowing they are often used for classes or private training, was beyond Yuroic. Shrugging, he watched as the Jedi lingered in the background. Paying little attention to the newcomer, Yuroic focused on the Padawan. "So, to start with I will explain the power then demonstrate its use on a small animal before letting you have a chance," Yuroic explained as he gestured to the cage he brought in with him. "Force Stun uses the Force to manipulate the energy within a person, slowing that energy down and dampening their senses, this makes unaware of their envirornment and unable to move against you. To do this, you must focus on the individual and use the Force to stem the flow of energy, for now it won't be realistic scenarios for you to practice in, no opponents running at you trying to kill you but gives you enough understanding to be able to use it in more realistic situations when you can use the power better."

Opening the cage with the Force, Yuroic allowed the small furry mammal to crawl out of the cage, it was harmless for safety purposes and unable to resist Force Powers. Using Force Stun, he froze the mammal in place and prevented it from moving. "This is Force Stun, now that you know how it should look, you can give it a go." Released the creature, allowing Aurelion a go.

Was he late? Kahlil entered the room, his eyes scanning around for the crowd of people he expected to be there learning. It was, after all, a classic ability of the Jedi. A new skill unlike anything the ex-Sith had learned when he was still a Sith so it surely must be able to help him embrace the Light. Rather then try to relearn his skills from dark to light at least. But when he found the room empty he blinked in surprise.

There was only one person. He laughed nervously as he was surely noticed and stepped in with his hands in his back pockets. "So uh.. Am I late?"

[member="Yuroic Xeraic"] @Tricia @Aurelion Nova

Too closely behind, Eenia had followed after [member="Kahlil Zambrano"]. A fact which caused her to run right into the back of him when he stopped inside the training room. However she had learned by now to reach out and latch on to people rather than let herself fall, and she knew Kahlil was sturdy enough to keep her from falling, and not fall down himself as she grasped the back of his shirt.

And since she was still on her feet, she leaned to see around him, expecting to have just interrupted a full class, and then her brow creased when there was...practically no one.

She did much the same thing [member="Aurelion Nova"] had done, she stepped back entirely to look at the room number before she stepped forward and past Kahlil so get into the room. It was the right one, and since the speech had already started, Eenia was quick to scoot past her friend so that she could go and line up.

"Apologies, Master..." she muttered out, and was quick to find a place to stand and be out of the way, yet still be able to see.

The the little sithling poked her head into the room and laughed. “Oh Kahlil, you are adorable like this.” She snickered softly to herself, as she hopped into the room. “Hi there!” The caramel skinned teen gave the master a bright smile. For once she was not in her beskar'garm. “Oh! Congratulations Master. A bit late, but I wasn't allowed to go to the ceremony. Go figure." Was it odd that an unashamedly dark side girl was in the room? Perhaps. Was it even more odd, when one stopped the consider what Kahlil and Allya in a room represented at all? Even more so. One the child of Darth Carnifex, the other the child of Darth Metus. Without a doubt their parents were the most powerful beings in the galaxy right now. And here was one playing Jedi, and the other bounced around the Rest as if she owned the place! But where Kahlil was attempting to be more light, Allya had made very little attempt to do such. The dark side flowed from her body, but it wasn't the sickly sweet aroma of corruption. But instead, a more subtle feel, like a cold winters night, not unnatural, and not corruptive. It just was, it existed, and it existed in a way that felt rather natural.

That said, the girl was obviously changing. Jerek's influence had made her question everything, and to not want to harm anyone at all if she could help it. It had gotten to the point the teen had actively attempted to influence her father to push his anger away from innocents. Her friendship with Asaara was always enlightening as well. Dark side? Yes. But not Sith, not truly. Each day, each lesson, she learned, she took it to heart, and she added to this new found morality. Who could say what the future held.

Today, she desperately wanted to learn an ability that DIDN'T automatically kill someone. True she had ulterior motives. Most of them involved kidnapping [member="Jerek Zenduu"] with it, and stealing him away somewhere, or maybe her sister Damsy. Or Luna....Luna needed a break, but she refused to take one. If she learned this, she could kidnap her, and force her to take a vacation.....No, Allya still had no clue this line of thought was wrong at all. But who could say what she would learn by the end of the day. The girl bounced on her feet a bit. “Sorry I'm late master. But I'm excited!” Emotions flowed around her, so easy to read, so happy and joyful, but so intense. Once inside the room, the girl hyper-actively twirled around a bit.

Finally, her eyes went to Eenia and she snickered a bit more. This was interesting.

Sleeps all day.... yawns all night
She listened and remained there raising an eyebrow at the using the force on small animals to training purposes... animal techniques to tame and control was one thing. It confused them sure but stun could make them panic or cause trauma more like abuse when she looked at some of the others filing in. Dear force gods they were all so... young and one of them she was fairly certain was like ten.... she did't exactly understand or choose to understand human lifespans it was usualy so tiny compared to some species and she had a long memory. Sadly she imagined saying animal abuse wouldn't get far, the methods of learning stun and how to counter techniques like stun was to practice on another the worse that could happen... it didn't work or made you tingle.

Aurelion watched with mixed feelings of apprehension, trepidation and a small twinge of excitement as more and more people seemed to funnel into the class, or just wake up from their nap in the case of [member="Tricia"] , and Aurelion's hands flexed and tensed at the very, VERY sudden audience he now found himself in the presence of. Coincidentally enough this crowd appeared right before the very anxious, and very inexperienced, Aurelion had just been instructed by Master [member="Yuroic Xeraic"] to attempt the Force Stun ability on the little fur-ball of a creature. The tiny mammal sniffing curiously at the air and seeming... well... just slightly more hesitant about the crowd of people than Aurelion himself. Aurelion paused, something about practicing on a tiny, helpless animal making him fidget a bit. He understood the reasoning, of course, better something harmless than even some mildly dangerous animal and better that than a person but.... still. It made Aurelion pause, pet the little mammal gently before removing his hand, and beginning to open himself up to the Force. His own Force Signature radiating out from his consciousness, stretching and wavering through the air only for his concentration, and connection, to waver and fracture. Like a spreading spider-web of cracks woven by the hands of some unseen arachnid did Aurelion's presence of the Force expand outward. Reaching everyone present in the room, his naturally empathetic nature resonating with each person, and creature, individually as an echo of Aurelino's own doubts and traumas reached out to them through his focus. Seeping like a perfidious pressure through the small cracks in his concentration. This was no mental invasion, rather it was like a hologram playing to each individual person through their own perception of what Aurelion's connection to the Force felt like to them. Should they choose to feel back.

Being the one closest to Aurelion [member="Yuroic Xeraic"] would feel the sensations most strongly. From just the other side of the glass-like, fractious structure of the Padawan's concentration a familiar sensation would be readily identifiable in the epicenter of Aurelion's troubles. Something Yuroic may know all too well. A sense of unbelonging, echoing through Aurelion's fragile will, and hold, on his concentration that would reach Yuroic. A distorted, warbling sensation like a mis-firing speaker system of some sense of wanting acceptance. Of having to scrape and suffer as a child. Being small, lean and wiry and unable to truly fend for himself in what was meant to be his home. And finally, a sense of... betrayal, of abandonment and loss. Of hopeful expectation met with cold, unfeeling reality and disdain very similar to Yuroic's experience when he was traded to Ta'Mihaj.

As the sensation met the ancient Jedi [member="Tricia"] the discord within Aurelion's concentration would immediately feel like a buzzing, racing nightmare that left one unable to sleep. The thoughts, emotions and weight of the source of the Eldorai Padawan's trouble in his concentration being vaguely reminiscent of her years on Hoth, alone. Only through Aurelion's connection that time alone was simply cold, with no Wampa fur to warm him, no time with Tauntauns to keep him company. No sleeping beneath the frozen land to pass the time. There was only being forced to stay awake, in that source of Discord, for every, single second. No reprieve, no escape and no mercy.

To [member="Kahlil Zambrano"] the fractures born of Aurelion's small lapses in concentration would seem... almost familiar. The cracks almost seeming to form words, to illuminate further on their origin, but instead they became windows only to some inner darkness. Not that Aurelion himself had any contact with the Dark Side, but that whatever shook him to his core of concentration acted like a personal shadow, his own inner dark. Through the cracked, distorted perception of what Aurelion's connection may look like to Kahlil he would most likely see a heavily distorted version of himself. That same yearning, that need to prove oneself and be worthy of attention, would meet the eyes of the Sith-born male.

To the soft-spoken [member="Eenia Vahn"] the sensation of Aurelion's personal connection would seemingly shake before her. A tangible, similar sensation to her loss of her sister Anora presented to her. A jarring, wavering tumult of confusion and loss of direction the young Vahn girl would find all too familiar.

Finally to the last Force Sensitive in the room [member="Allya Vi'Dreya"] the perception of Aurelion's connection would be much clearer than for others. The subtle, cold wintry feeling of the girl's own Dark Side aura being perceived by Aurelion in turn and as the cold, chilling feeling met his own connection the cracked, fractured mirror-like surface of his concentration became.... clearer. A familiarity born of ostracization greeting the young Sith girl's perception of Aurelion's own connection as it met her senses. A feeling not unlike standing in the midst of an earthquake would be transmitted through the Force, connection between Allya's unstable and fractured familial experience meeting Aurelion's own and there was.... harmony. Something Aurelion sensed in the Sith girl bringing him a small amount of peace, despite her darkness, and with a deep, low breathe he extended a hand toward the furry mammal.

Aurelion's connection to the Force cleared, the fractured, jagged lines in his concentration being 'patched' by the cold mist of Allya's own connection as Aurelion felt..... kinship? Something to that nature. His connection expanded to fill the room, then contracted and focused, spreading over the small mammal like a hazed distortion of whirling glass and the little creature would go completely still for a moment. Much as it had done with Yuroic, before Aurelion opened his eye, and smiled. He would then withdraw his concentration and, subsequently, his hold on the Force Stun as the little furry mammal began moving once more as if nothing at all had happened. Aurelion tensed, still smiling, pleased at his success as he stepped back into place.

It seemed that his class was getting fuller as time went on, Yuroic smiled warmly to the newcomers as he waved them in. "Come in, come in. Not missed much, I was just teaching Aurelion here the basics in Force Stun." The mammal was one he knew would be safe, he communicated with it long before the class using his skills in beast control. He had decided to use the mammal as Aurelion had been the only one in the class at that moment in time. There was more students so they could pair each others, practising as he watched over them. Crossing his arms, he watched as Aurelion focus on the task and drew on the Force. He seemed more skilled in the Force than Yuroic had been at his age, able to freeze the mammal in place using the Force and not do it any harm. Yuroic nodded his head and gave a grin to Aurelion and tapped his shoulder, "well done Aurelion, few people can do it the first time."

Yuroic thanked the mammal and sent it back in the cage to be returned to the wild after the class had ended. Looking at the others, "Pair up, we will be practising on one another." He watched the others and gave a warm smile to them. "Force Stun is a power where we are slowing the energy in a person, reducing their sense and movements to stop them. Puts them in a near coma like state while they are standing there, you should feel the Force, the energy inside a person and reduce its flow in a person." Yuroic explained to the newcomers, he watched them as they paired up. "So one side give it a go then the next." He was interested to see how others would progress compared to Aurelion.

"Ado- what?" He blinked at [member="Allya Vi'Dreya"] as she so casually entered the classroom. What in the world did she mean by that? Well, no. He had to focus. He glanced to [member="Yuroic Xeraic"] , blinking at the description of the power. That sounded like a terrifying power. His Sith training already made him think of the evil implications of Force Stun, on how to freeze and terrorize those around you. Grant it, that wasn't his way of life anymore. The young man shook the thoughts from his mind. As evil as it could be, it was non-lethal. With it he wouldn't have to kill.

He smiled over to [member="Eenia Vahn"] when they were told to make pairs. Who better? "Let's give it a shot, yeah?"

It didn't seem to take long for the room to slowly start filling with bodies, a fact that Eenia was somewhat pleased with since it meant they weren't the only ones who had been late. Though when [member="Allya Vi'Dreya"] more or less bounded into the room, Nia loft a brow. She glanced briefly between the other girl and Kahlil, she would have to remember to ask about that later. But for now, her attention drifted towards the Master in the room.

When they were given a rundown of what was going on from [member="Yuroic Xeraic"], Eenia looked at her hands and flexed her fingers a couple of times. And being told to break off into pairs was a no brainer. The blonde shifted around to face [member="Kahlil Zambrano"] and she nodded. "Yep, lets do it."

She stepped away from the rest of the group to give the pair of them some room, and then she shifted around to face Kahlil. A slight smirk lifted one corner of her mouth and she loft a brow at him. "Alright, give it a go."

Aurelion's application of the technique was not at all as flawless as Master Yuroic initially gave him credit for as, as soon as Aurelion stepped back into place, his connection to the Force snapped and wavered, Lashing out with blind energy at it's wielder and backlashing on Aurelion. His form going stock-still for a long, tense moment that promised no movement or emotion from the Padwan. His features frozen and hazed without a smile, his singular eye wide open and unseeing, though thankfully Aurelion had held the Force Stun for such a small amount of time that his own subjugation to the technique through his own connection only lasted equally as long. A brief handful of second before Aurelion shivered and, having returned quite literally to his senses, was able to catch Master Yuroic mention pairing up with others.

Fidgeting from foot to foot bashfully Aurelion's elongated, pointed ears drooped in timid acceptance of Yuroic's praise, a soft blush covering his features as he murmured a quiet "Th-Thank you...." before he glanced around the room sheepishly. Seeing others already beginning to pair up and prepare themselves Aurelion was unsure if anyone would want to pair with him. Considering how his demonstration of the technique had went.

Tricia stretched out and scratched her chest for a moment as she floated and looked at the padawan sitting there in the air. Her tri-colored eyes falling on him and feeling him work to brush across her mind had at least gotten some of the sleep from her eyes. SHe remained there and twirled a finger into the singsteel chain coming from her neck and down her arms. She remained there though and spoke letting her mind project it in and voice clearly and with intent as she crashed her mental presence against him to try and open up the mental shields. 'Not many try and feel my mind let alone my memories child... lets see what you can do shall we.' She said it and her expression was remarkably blank as she hovered there.

She sat back and watched the Jedi work. The girl was happy that it seemed Kahlil had someone close to him. Very happy. Doing what that man had done was difficult, very difficult. Allya understood. Her pride watching the form Sith was through the roof. However, she wanted to practice this herself, and she understood her very nature would make this task so much harder. Normally she used Jedi meditations to calm her emotions, to keep them in check, but she knew that was simply a stop gap.

The girl closed her eyes, and took in a deep breath in through the nose. She held it for several moments, then slowly let it out through the mouth, and began to focus her mind upon her god, Hod Ha'ran. She pushed out all unneeded thoughts, all emotion, and focused on the image of him, and the words: Darasuum kote bah Hod Ha'ran.

Heart and breathing slowed, emotions began to fade away, and she swayed the to beat of unknowable drums in the distance. Everything had its place, and everything fit into its place. She didn't need to be Jedi, she didn't need to be Sith, she just needed to be. Finally, eyes opened, and she smiled. The force wrapped around her, cool and powerful. It swirled in an ebb and flow, wrapped around like some dark cloak draped across her body.

She watched Tricia, and shook her head. Why she felt the need to attack a student's mind, and hog him for herself, she wouldn't know. However, there was one who didn't have a partner. Still calm, collected, the girl walked up to Master Yuroic, she approached slow, with an outstretched hand, so he was aware she was there, and what she would try and do, so as to not startle the master.

Allya knew she couldn't perform the standard lightside variation of this, but she did have an idea of her own. Take it, and make it her own. Instead, when Allya touched the master, she attempted to spread the energy through his body, to allow his own heart beat to spread the force through his limbs, and then, if she managed, to have the force fire, which should act like a slight electrical impulse, and cause his limbs to lock up, halting movement, hopefully. At the same time, she attempted to push into his mind. Not a harsh attack or forceful entry, but instead, to overload his senses. At the same time as the force fired in his body, she tried to push images of crows, the sound of drums, and whispering Mandalorian chants into his head. The goal was to stun him, through the physical means of his body, but also by overloading his senses if possible. Now, this was the intention. What actually happened, how well it happened, and everything else was in the air. It was her first time trying this and she hadn't been able to give it a massive amount of thought ahead of time. Besides, this was a master! But she figured, if it didn't work, he could tell her how to improve her technique.

Watching the students pair up, seemed two of the later students were very close and instantly paired together. What was curious was the Jedi Master that Yuroic didn't recognise pairing with Aurelion, a Padawan who could have gotten more benefits from practising with another Padawan. Allya walked over to him, he smiled warmly to the young teen, he knew that she was a member of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. It was interesting to see someone so connected to the Dark Side here attempting to use Light Side based powers. It was a reverse of his situation where he was a Light Sider and learning how to use the Dark Side powers. Standing opposite Allya, Yuroic offered a warm smile as he stood and looked over to her. "Give it your best shot then Allya."

Her attempt was interesting, she didn't try to dim his senses but overwhelm them. The noise, images and such Yuroic was able to resist feeling overwhelm it was a good attempt but Yuroic didn't think it could be as effective as dimming a person's senses. Looking over to Allya, Yuroic could feel his movements slow and his joints stiffen before fully paralysing him. Once released, Yuroic moved closer to Allya, "So, you did really good on the freezing the movements of me but your attempts on overloading my senses weren't as effective. It can be harder to try overloading senses as well as reducing a person's movement. It might be easier to try and think of stopping the senses in a similar way to the way you reduced the movement." Yuroic mentioned, looking over to the other Padawans he looked to see how they are doing before moving back in position to allow Allya another attempt on him.

[member="Allya Vi'Dreya"] [member="Tricia"] [member="Aurelion Nova"] [member="Eenia Vahn"] [member="Kahlil Zambrano"]

Kahlil took a deep breath as he turned to face [member="Eenia Vahn"] . He offered her a kind smile when she motioned for him to go first. Seemed fitting given who was better at manipulating the Force between the pair. He raised his hand, letting his eyes close as he focused on the task at hand. Manipulating the Force in another was.. Different and difficult, at least through how the Jedi did it. As a Sith he could break the wills of countless.

But he wasn't a Sith anymore.

It might of been cheap, but the connection Eenia and Kahlil had made it far easier for him to begin affecting her. With his eyes closed he focused only on slowing her perception and freezing her muscles, dampening her mind and body.

It was an odd sensation, to feel the muscles in her body begin to tense, tighten, and eventually lock. Normally, Eenia's brows would have risen and there would have been an expression of either surprise or amusement on her face, but given her muscles didn't respond? She just simply continued to stare at Kahlil. Her perception didn't completely fade however. Her sight became unclear, and her hearing became fuzzy, but her mind was still clear as a bell.

Enough so that she used that same unfair advantage between herself and Kahlil to counter. She focused on the energy around him, but rather than do it slowly she wanted that restriction of his muscles all at once. The senses she couldn't get a beat on, not with her own muddled the way they were. But she used that sharp focus on the energy around him to do her best to lock him up and stun him.
