Planet: Lorrd
Objective: Build BiRD's Underground Facility/HQ

This had been a long time coming, and finally Jeron was ready to take the final step. After the completion of this facility, it wouldn't be long until his dream would finally come to fruition. He was staring out at the plot of land he just purchased beside his companion Nick Viskis who was also waiting for this day. Jeron already had his Officers reach out to his old friend from Corellia Digital, the new potential business partner, and his new friend; the girl he had an eye for. She said she wanted to help with a job, or some sort of career. Well, he had something ready for her, but he didn't know if she would go for it.

"We're finally here, Nick," Jeron said loud enough so Nick could hear, squinting his eyes as the wind swept up. "I came to you with an offer so many years ago, and here we are. It's finally coming true," he looked over in Nick's direction, nudging him. "You don't know how lobg it's been since I made the first promise." "You're right, I don't," Nick added, watching the couple of GOMM construction vehicles moving things and getting the area ready, "I'm not an ancient old man," he said as he tilted his head towards Jeron. They both laughed for a bit until they both got quiet, finally reaching this point in tine and taking a moment of silence to appreciate it. "The business partners should be here soon, I think it's best they work together since we know literally poodoo about construction and what makes a terminal tick," Nick started up as they both grinned, "That woman you talk about, don't know when she'll be here."

Viskis teased Jeron for his obvious affection and not knowing if she'd show up, as if it was like standing him up. Jeron pushed Nick as if they were brothers, shaking his head. "You keep quiet about anything similar, you got that?" Jeron tried to order Viskis, stifling a laugh

The silvery craft exited from out of hyperspace.

The starlight reflected of the metallic skin of the H-type Nubian yacht as it drifted toward the planet Lorrd. The Asuka II was owned by Corell Financial, the vehicle of his Chief Financial Officer -- both the ship and the subsidiary, that is. [member="Jon Jon Nemo"] had argued at length that the boy's YT-2400 freighter was wholly inappropriate for the corporate image. While he disagreed as to that line of thought, the fact remained that the Nubian was far more reliable than was the Jedi's usual mode of transportation. Which was doubtless a product of the fact that he did most of the maintenance on the Corellian transport.

Lorrd had most recently fallen under the shadow of the Primeval. A barbaric, violent sectarian cult during the time that the so-called Host Lord, Anja aj-Rou, had been alive. Under the leadership of Zambrano the Hutt, it was become a despot of self-destruction, genocide, and evil. Whatever work that the Minarchy had in store for this world was certain to be a much needed improvement. In Sor-Jan's day, the Old Republic, Lorrd had boasted some of the most reputable universities in the known galaxy. It would be a shame for the debauchery of the Primeval to eclipse their worlds contributions to learning and science.

Adjust the flight controls, the young Anzat stabilized the yachts approach vector before he turned his head to look back at the communications technician behind him. "Send to the Minarchy. Corellia Digital is ready to assist."

This would be the second construction operation that the Legacy Of Organics Manufacturer, or LOOM as Ultimatum called it, had been contacted about. Most of the buildings that had been constructed had been of Ultimatum's choosing and had been made to expand the company. The other building had been of a more clandestine sort, so much so that Ultimatum had been paid simply to send work force and materials. In return he had received an upgrade to the shipyard he had above Mustafar. This would be interesting, another underground facility. The first buildings ever made by the beginnings of the company, at the time Ultimatum and a few worker droids, had been underground. The Progenitor Facility was built as his underground headquarters. Built into the metal filled rock of Mustafar so as to make scanners less effective at locating the base.

Now he had the Sovereignty and his main cargo transport, an Acavus bulk cruiser filled with building materials and an army of construction droids, both heading towards Lorrd. It was a new world to Ultimatum, so he had done a little bit of studying before arriving. It appeared to be a planet that had more history than actually interesting geographical anomalies. At the end of the day it seemed to be a good somewhat backwater planet, it had a colored past that would have brought many tourists if the main attractions had not been filled a long time ago.

He sent a message ahead, heralding his arrival. "This is Ultimatum of the Legacy Of Organics Manufacturer, we will be arriving shortly. Where would you like to meet?"

It had been by Alicia's suggestion that Legacy of Organics Manufacture, abbreviated 'LOOM', were to be contacted by GOMM for the construction project. Already, Ultimatum and his corporation had left a mark on galactic history. It had also been by Alicia's choice that BiRD's underground facility was to be located at Lorrd, due to planets proximity to the MZX32905 system. As the head of BiRD, Alicia was to be present at the construction of the facility where she would lead GOMM's research and development.

Thus, the Initium touched down at the designated landing zone, carrying Alicia from Antecedent to Lorrd over the course of two days. It hadn't been a particularly long trip. There was less protocols to be observed by near traffic controls, with the Outer Rim Territories enjoying freedom as opposed to the Mid Rim and deeper into the Core worlds. According to Chandrila customs, however, Alicia hadn't left the Chandrila system over the past ten years. Having a ship that could come and go, without anyone knowing, was most useful. She was a mystery, although not complete. A lot of secrets had been revealed in recent times. Mistakes had been made. But they would be fixed and part of the process was the work she would be going on Lorrd.

Alicia approached Nick and Jeron with a sense of trepidation. The last time she had met with the older man hadn't ended well. Hood drawn over her head, she came to a stop near the two. Behind her, the Initium closed it's shuttle bay doors and retracted it's landing ramp, sealing itself until it's master return. "Hello Nick. Hello... Jeron."

As the partners began to raise in, Nick reported them to Jeron. Jeron smiled and they were both showing their happy faces up until Alicia showed up. They didn't grow frowns, but they did become surprised. It seemed even though they thought their comms weren't reaching Alicia, she got them all too well. They both turned around to greet her, Nick looking as young as he did before, before the ...incident. "Ah, Welcome, Alicia. I thought, perhaps, you'd be staying wherever it was you hang out at. You are always hard to find," he grinned, turning to Nick. "Well, it seems everyone is here but.." "Yeah, she hasn't rang in. Maybe she's busy. Don't worry, I'll get your attention when she does," Nick continued, trying to make Jeron feel better, "In the meantime, the others are asking for what is next."

Jeron nodded, "Alright, give them our coordinates so they can land and we can discuss how the facility is going to go." Nick agreed and turned around to open up his Comms to the two ships in orbit, "Coordinates are being sent now. Jeron would like you to land at them. Once you have arrived, we'll begin discussion of the facility's structure and internal bits, yeah? See ya when you get here, guys." Nick was a professional man, but he was loosening up to be friendly. While Nick was radioing over to Corella Digital and LOOM, Jeron looked over to Alicia curiously. His behavior seemed completely devoid of the event that personally transpired between him and Alicia. For, in his own mind, he had put a mark on Alicia, and he was going to permanently rid himself of any personal feelings he may have had for Alicia so he would never harm her again.

"Alicia," Galven spoke up while Nick continued on the Comms. "I had the designs printed up for the Facility a little while before Nick and I arrived, but, of course... you are head of BiRD. Do you desire to head this construction project? I did not know if I would see you again before the Facility was complete. Obviously, if you wish to take control here, you can offer your own designs, or even object to some or all of the ones I had. Guaranteed, it will be to top security and hidden standards."

Wasn't sure in light of some recent posts if we were continuing this or not, but in the event that we are...

The communications technician relayed the coordinates from the message to the small Anzat at the helm.

Like a concert pianist, the Corellian born Jedi plied his hands to the controls in front of him. Dipping down into the atmosphere, the silvery Naboo yacht made the graceful transition between heaven and earth. Sunlight sparkled as it was reflected off the metallic finish of the ship, as the boy slipped between the clouds and eased the stately vessel toward the location supplied them.

Three prongs seemed to emerge from the underside of the transport, as the landing struts normally housed flush with the aerospace frame were lowered in preparation for the landing. The ship gave a slight bounce as it touched down, the weight of the yacht transferred through the struts to the landing platform on which it now rested. There was the telltale sound of hydraulics adjusting to changes in pressure as different systems were cycled down. A white cloud of vapor appeared like a sheer curtain, as the loading ramp opened to reveal a small form emerging from within the ship.

The green robe flowed behind the youngling as he walked, the singular Jedi trait ascribable to him. He wore typical street clothes beneath that. An open collar shirt and trousers that bore the Corellian bloodstripe, the legs of which were tucked into a pair of well worn boots. A silvery cylinder bounced against the young Anzat's left hip, and the butt of a small blaster stood out against his right thigh from a drop-leg holster.

A sharp, synthetic whistle marked the presence of a BB unit rolling along beside him.

Proceeding across the landing zone, the small Jedi looked up to see the former Galven Solomon. From a certain point of view, this was meeting an auld acquaintance. And yet, in many respects they were meeting for the first time. From what [member="Jon Jon Nemo"] had described of the GOMM-Ball, the boy should expect that the more things changed the more things might have tended to stay the same.

Save for that, now, he knew that this Jason Verity was a vampire. Strange, to find common ground in that. Pausing a respectful distance away, the young Jedi bowed his respects toward the Imperator. Then paused and did so again toward the woman, whom he was certain he had not met prior. When he had straightened back up, the second time, the boy looked up and offered, "Greetings, Imperator."
