OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION

PRODUCTION INFORMATION
  • Manufacturer: Unknown
  • Model: "Wetwork"
  • Affiliation: Greivex Construction Hive
  • Modularity: No
  • Production: Unique
  • Material: Electronics, code, digits.
SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Capable of downloading skills and information directly down onto it's data-banks when needed, although most of this information is outdated as it comes from a source which dates back to the Clone Wars, new data must be saught out and downloaded from outside sources.
  • Capable of controlling a dozen droids at once
  • Practically invisible when hacking. This is primarily used for hacking droids, and security networks.
  • Skilled General and Tactician, especially against force users. However, this knowledge only goes as far as small squad combat (50 or less individuals per side) and he gets confused and disoriented when fighting more then that, slowing his response time and logical thinking.. you could say he gets panicked
  • Fully capable of feeling emotions, this was designed to give him a 'Survival Instinct' and thus improve his battle performance

DETAILED SPECIAL FEATURES
"Wetwork" was designed as an AI commander during the Clone Wars for the Confederacy, but was never actually deployed due to it never passing the testing stages of it's development. Unlike all the other skills which it simply downloads, "Wetwork" has deep insight on tactics and warfare, and uses this to it's advantage when controlling droids. However, his processing ability and reactive timing is limited, and so he splits tiny bits of himself off into each droid he takes over, however when that droid is destroyed, so is that data, and it must be reconstructed at Geonosis, all data that the droid learned, including how it was destroyed, is gone.

But because of this fault, "Wetwork" is only as intelligent as the droids he controls in an area, combining their processing powers.. so, say, he has 5 B1 battle droids in one area, and in another area he has 20 B1 battle droids. The 'Squad' of 20 will act much more intelligently and fluently than the squad of 5, due to more processing power. The Droids make a network to share information and create a super processor, the droids must be less than 300 meters apart though to share this information. He usually splits them into four groups of three which explore the galaxy!

DESCRIPTION
"Wetwork" is an unfinished AI designed to combat the Jedi Generals during the clone wars, and potential sith threats, as well as their small squads. Due to his general inactivity, and general purposeless existence at the moment (except for assisting Veryiana with her corporate.. "problems"), he has dedicated himself to exploring and gaining information of this new galaxy he has awoken in. Most of his B1 battle droids that he controls (out of the 12) are dedicated to knowledge and exploratory purposes, but 10 have been specially dedicated to bounty hunting as a way to keep himself self sufficient.

Strengths:

  • AI: Contrary to a droid, "Wetwork" can think outside the box, and his programming is constantly evolving
  • Squad General: His ability to control droids was his purpose, for war, and so he is fully capable of doing so with fluidity
  • Curious: "Wetwork", although designed for combat, has found his new purpose, exploring and looking for knowledge!
  • "Incorporeal": Although "Wetwork" isn't a phantom, he has no physical form, only a source code, so he can pretty much survive being destroyed as long as the code is preserved, and he is capable of moving this source code in a variety of ways.
Force Hunter: "Wetwork" is fully versed in the known force powers during the Clone Wars and thus thinks he knows what to do in the situation.. we'll see if that's true.
Weaknesses:

"Split Personality": Although He is an AI and rather intelligent.. the fact that he splits himself between his droids causes his little 'groups' to be rather unintelligent, and he can only use his true prowess when all of them are together, and currently their processing power is restricted to the fact that he's controlling B1 battle droids, so their processing power even when they're all together is.. limited.

"Ancient": The knowledge he possesses is old.. to the say the least, and the fact that he's using B1 battle droids means that he is no where near as efficient as he was designed to be compared to 'modern' technology.

"Whole New Life": "Wetwork" is only capable of being paired with one type of droid at a time, so he can't have some B1s and some B2s, and when he attempts to get a new body, he must learn how to adapt to the new body, how it's mechanisms work, how to use it's limbs, processors, and etc. Also, the more complex the droid he attempts to adapt to, the less amount of them he can control.

"Conflict Mindset": Although the Clone Wars is over, "Wetwork"'s main problem solving skill is.. conflict, if he feels threatened in any way, conflict is usually his first reaction due to his enhanced emotional reaction, which makes him incredibly hard to get along with.

"Art Lover": Due to his enhanced emotional programs, if he sees at any sort of beautiful art, he will instantly stop and adore it, no matter the situation, because Beauty is more important then everything else!

"What if I told you.." "Wetwork" is a profound story teller, and adores telling random strangers about 'That one Time' or 'What if I told you' stories about how great he is, and thus is hard to get along with. Again, due to the enhanced emotional programs, because self confidence and pride are the second most important thing to beauty.

Artificial Intelligence (Non-Droid) (( Objective: A thesis must be written, either in a blog or over the course of a role-play thread, consisting of the concepts of your Artificial Intelligence’s design. Scientific journal excerpts from your character’s time spent designing the Artificial Intelligence must be included. Minimum 1000 words total. --OR--Persuade a Player Character (not of your creation) to have their consciousness uploaded to a crystal matrix in order to serve as your AI's central core. ))

This a quote from the New Factory Standardized Rules and shows you that you need a development thread from any AI creations.

We understand one of the rules says,
Technology that has a restricted material (Beskar, Phrik, Cortosis, Songsteel, Echani Graphite, Ionite, & Pyronium), will no longer require a completed ‘restricted material’ objective thread as long as the item that is being submitted is labeled as Unique.

But this does not apply to AI do to its nature.
