A simple blaster pistol of average size, this weapon is equipped with a power pack capacity for fifty shots and enough blaster gas to last one hundred shots. The WESTAR-81 has a unique cylinder power pack that goes with the smooth design of the pistol to aid in draw speed. The power pack cylinder simply needs to be unhinged by the extractor pin and replaced. Blaster gas canisters can quickly be replaced in the standard method just below the barrel. This weapon is typically only effective within a personal range, and its accuracy drops when engaging sustained firing. The smooth design of the barrel with a tiny front sigh greatly increases draw speed while decreasing the chances the snag with in the holster by the pistol's mechanical parts. An aspect that attracts sport speed shooters and quick draw gunfighters to the WESTAR-81. For the Galaxies' frontiersmen and gunfighters, the hitting power is a added bonus giving that assurance of stopping your target dead in his tracks gives peace of mind.
