The Valley of the Lost Jedi upon the world of Ruusan, a black canyon filled with nothing but statues and the power of the lightside It sat peacefully, undisturbed by people and even creatures for nearly four centuries now. The Plague had all but erased this planet from the galaxy, taking records and hyperspace routes to the planet away. Thus the valley was safe and undisturbed. It sat there, for decade after decade without an iota of life to run through it. That was of course, until the force deemed it to be otherwise.

A massive surge of power erupted form the Nexus itself, it corrupted and sang to itself. The force twisted and churned, and then suddenly it released a massive wave of energy that spread through the cavernous monument like a tidal wave across a city. It lasted only for a few seconds, and then like a great yawn the energy sucked itself back in to one central location. Then, from that point a single voice could be heard crying out.

“FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!” It rang throughout the entire Canyone, and then from nothingness the silhouette of a body flew forward. A loud crash and crack could be heard as the body landed onto the hard stone beneath wherever he came from. A slight crunch could be heard as well and another yelp moved throughout the grand hall. “What the-”

The voice was cut off as a burst of light erupted from the center of the chamber, only a few feet away from the figure. The Light began to spiral and spin, and then opened up into a massive blue gate that seemed to lead into nothingness. The figure stared at the gate before him, sitting on the ground while watching like a child as two other figure emerged from beyond the darkness.

Arriving in an expulsion of Force energies, Sable's figure flew across the chamber and landed several feet away from Sven, skidding across the floor a bit before coming to a stop. Black steam rose in thick clouds from all around her accompanied by a strange hissing sound. Disoriented by overwhelming pain and fatigue, Sable tried several times to push herself up only to collapse back to the ground. Groaning, the Dread Lady gave up for a moment to simply let her mind catch up with what just happened.

She'd been in the process of dropping Moridin's artifacts into the Nexus. It had taken some time to subdue that pesky Jedi, but after she unleashed several Hssiss from the crates on her supply shuttle they kept him busy long enough for her to begin the process. Piraiba, having demolished all the Jedi statues, arrived just in time to finish the Jedi off. The Nexus seemed to have awakened and become aware, if at all possible. The artifacts didn't have a strong enough effect, something Sable knew would happen deep down. With her brother absorbed in Force Meditation to help boost her own power, Sable had done something...a little bit crazy. She'd thrown herself into the Nexus -

"DyaaaaAAAAAaaa!!" the Forceborn Prodigy cried out, body convulsing as she remembered the agony. It had been like walking into absolute zero. She'd lost all functions save her anger, and it was perhaps that alone that kept her alive. She'd unleashed it within the Nexus, setting loose the Darkside corruption. Something had happened then... but what?

Shuddering, Sable tried one more time to push herself off the floor. She managed to sit up and remained there in a dazed sort of agony.

As soon as he saw Sable fly overhead Sven felt panic seize his heart. Anxiety tore him and almost immediately he wanted to stand up. He attempted to push himself up with his left hand, the bones within his arm burned almost immediately and pain shot up his torso. He grimaced realizing that his arm was probably broken. In one smooth move Sven flipped himself up and onto his feet. Unlike Sable he apparently felt no pain from the path they had taken to come here, perhaps due to his force immunity, or perhaps because he himself had not been a conduit.

Sven didn't think about it however, he bounded to his feet and rushed over to Sable closing the distance between himself and her in almost no time at all. He slid to a stop before her and almost immediately squatted down before her. With his unbroken arm he immediately held a hand out to her. He didn't touch her, but instead floated the hand over her face. Sven had no idea if touching her would cause more pain, and he wasn't willing to risk it.

“Are you okay?” Sven asked with very genuine concern in his voice and eyes. He looked at her, over and over again checking her over for any obvious injuries. The Dreadlord's son was clearly worried about his woman, to the point of entirely ignoring the massive force gate behind him that was still open.

Piraiba

Togorian Barricade
Then came the third figure ...

The Togorian landed not far away from them or perhaps he tumbled to a halt not far away. Pain soaked the creature's body for a couple preciously short moments before he suddenly jumped up. Claw adorned hands went forward in a defensive stance as his eyes narrowed and scanned the horizon for threats. They were alone for at least the moment.

That quick moment of verifying their safety was all Piraiba could stand before his maw pointed upward and he stretched his arms out. The following roar that was emitted wouldn't have been amiss on the lips of a lion. Hatred boiled in his veins as he reached down and grabbed a nearby rock. The rock had to weigh a good forty to fifty pounds, but the Togorian threw it at the quickly weakening force gate phenomenon as if the rock was merely a child's ball.

Emerald green eyes moved over to see Sven nursing Sable on the ground. It occurred to Piraiba then that he had enough exposure to the force to feel pain, but she depended on it so deeply that the pain likely nearly killed her. Sven oddly seemed effected even less so than the Togorian, though one arm did hang limp at his side.

"You are wounded little brother," added the feline casually as he reached behind his cloak covered back to pull his sniper rifle forward from its sling. Upon seeing the bent ruined barrel, he threw the weapon down with the emission of another roar like yell.

For a long while Sable remained crumpled where she was, swaying as her own energy slowly began to restore itself. Her eyes, fully blackened by corruption, mingled along the floor in front of her, dancing here and there as she watched several shapes move around. There were sounds echoing deftly in her ears, but she couldn't make them out. Her head pounded, her veins screamed, her body shuddered in protest of living.

She was living, right?

Another sound came then, distant first, a long disturbing sort of wailing in the back of her head that suddenly burst into cacophony so immense it might likely be heard far away in space. It were no sound, however, it was the wavelengths of the Nexus portal as it spiked and imploded. Grimacing, the woman's hands drew up to her head as she released another drawn out breath. There was no cry produced, but her eyes did instantly seem to clear.

"Are you okay?"

"You are wounded little brother."

"Sven..." Sable blinked, feeling her muscles finally released from their pain-enduced spasms. What was happening? What happened? She reached a hand out to grasp at her companion by his good shoulder and followed with her eyes as they slowly focused in on his face. Brother. She winced, looking confused for a moment as she began to recognize him.

"My brother..." she breathed and looked around finally. The world caught up and Sable was very much unprepared for it. Sven was hurt, the Togorian was angry, and something about this place just felt very off. "What..." the Dread Lady scrambled to sit up further and turned her attention to Sven fully and completely. Physically she noted his injury, emotionally there was concern for it but it was muddled in with an overarching feeling of emptiness, "where is my brother?!"

"I know, Ill be okay." Sven said to Piraba quietly as he stopped and caressed Sable's face for a few seconds trying to calm her down as much as he possibly could. Then he realized that something was absolutely broken within her eyes and it took only a few more seconds for the words to pass her mouth. Sirada was missing, her brother hadn't come through with them. It was obvious that Piraba had, it was quite hard to miss big green. Sirada however...much harder to not see. The Assassin turned around and looked throughout the chamber, he searched everywhere around them, his eyes working well in the dark.

He scanned every corner, every nook and cranny, but there was no sight of Sirada or his staff. He frowned, and then another wave of the force moved through the room. It dashed about like a tidal surge, until finally it all stopped. The gate in the center of the monument disappeared, and nothing more came true.

It became pitch black as all the light within the monument were snuffed out, leaving the two Humans and Togorians in utter darkness. Through it all one could her Sven's voice as he slowly turned back to his love and spoke. “It looks like...It looks like he didn't make it through.”

Sven was hesitant to speak, but he knew it was true, and he knew it was better to say the truth than to placate her with love and lies.

Sirada

He'd been doing everything that was asked of him. Meditate, strengthen her in the Force. That was what was asked of him and it was through that which he established a direct bond to his sister that was stronger than the one they normally shared between them. So when she jumped into the nexus, it was like a bomb exploded inside of his head. Rage and pain screamed through his entire being and the connection to his sister was thrown away. Completely gone. There was nothing there but the pain and agony screaming through him so violently that those who could touch the Force could probably hear him.

And then it was over, and with Sable being thrown away, something strange happened. For starters, Sirada was thrown from where he was, to land in a secluded space of brush, covered over by sticks and the like. And when he landed, he was sucked free of his body. The Nexus did not absorb him, however. No, it was the amulet that he wore around his neck, which he was using as a focus for the Force and to avoid pain, that absorbed his being.

So as Sable was calling around for him, and Sven was telling her that he hadn't made it, Sirada was lying lifeless in the bushes near where he'd been sitting. Meanwhile he was inside the amulet, standing in a field of nothingness with nothing around him and no obvious ground beneath him. Still, he felt like there was something there beneath him. He didn't panic. He couldn't panic. If he panicked, nothing would come of it all, so what was the point. Instead, he hung his head and waited. Who knew how long he would be stuck inside the thing. Could be ages.

Piraiba

Togorian Barricade
Piraiba watched as the force gate withered and dissipated into thin air. Sirada was not among them, but what bothered the Togorian more than anything else was the smell of the planet.

"People have not been here in a long time. This place smells different ... wrong."

There was a moments pause from the creature before suddenly he moved to Sable and placed his gargantuan clawed hands under her shoulders. Then as if she were but a very small child, he lifted her up effortlessly onto her feet. He continued to hold her until she found her balance.

"I was the last into that ... that thing. I was the last to come out. This planet is not our own. We have been taken somewhere ... different. Move little sister, we have to clear the perimeter."

There was a hint of urgency to the Togorian's deep voice. Piraiba was stressed by the sudden developments.

A guttural sort of reply escaped Sable as the Togorian moved to pick her up. He found little resistance, but her body went almost immediately limp as he held on to her. There, remaining on the floor where she had been moments before was a hunched, broken, shadowed geist, it's blackened eyes peering listlessly. Sven would recognize the thing from his first encounter with Sable, though this one seemed different - like a piece of glass baring imperfections.

Sable's body swayed in Piraiba's grasp, the geist looked up at it and released a mewling chirrup. It looked around, turning a searing gaze on Sven that lingered long enough for him to feel a growing anger. It snarled, mouth gaping to bare fangs of shadow before it suddenly dissipated. Sable staggered and pulled away from the Togorian. What was it he was feeling? These senses telling him strange things. Sable couldn't feel it, but currently she couldn't feel much of anything aside from the lingering fire within.

Steady on her feet but feeling the magnitude of her experience weighing her down, she nodded to Piraiba and slowly moved off towards the entrance of the cavern. Her stilted stride was slow but purposeful until she reached the chamber doorway. Stepping back out into the sun, Sable paused to lean a hand against the archway frame. Then, without any warning, she prickled, and the sunrays that lanced around her seemed to bend through a growing veil of darkness.

"Sirada..." the words escaped her mouth and suddenly she was on the move, heading towards the courtyard she had left him in before to meditate from afar.

Sven watched Sable with a curious interest, he didn't move to follow her to the entrance at first, rather he stood with Piraba staring at the monstrous Sith Apprentice. The creature was interesting, that was to be sure. Sven intended to get to know the giant cat better after this, after all everyone needed a friend. Just as he looked away from the large cats concerned Visage he saw Sable break out into a sprint. The young assassin opened his eyes wide in shock and let out a massive sigh. He hung his head and then immediately began to spring after her, his broken arm flapping at his side causing immense pain.

“Lets get out of here!” Sven called to Piraba, not urgently but in a rather serious tone for him. The Togarian was right of course, something didn't seem right about where they were. Everything looked the same, the walls, the plants, the scratches, but something felt...off. Sven couldn't place it, but the world seemed somehow...different.

The Dreadlord's son quickly caught up with Sable, running behind her and now holding his broken limb. On his face was a grimace, clearly the appendage was hurting quite a bit.

Different realm or not, it mattered little to Sirada. He could see nothing, feel nothing, hear nothing. There was nothing anywhere near him. Whiteness. That was all there was. He could see it with the Sight. Just a pure whiteness. It wasn't right and he didn't understand it. Moving his limbs, they felt incredibly heavy and the movement threw off his balance, causing him to fall to a knee and hand, resting on nothing, though what was beneath him still felt solid. He hung his head and just rested there for the moment.

Eventually he got up the energy to push back to his feet. He found that he couldn't use the Force where he was. Everything was off. He could still feel the Force, and he could use it to see, but he couldn't use it to boost his strength, or to move. No, each step was a painful step that appeared to take him nowhere at all. Still, he kept walking, in hopes that eventually something would happen and he could get out. He needed to get to Sable.

Piraiba

Togorian Barricade
Sven didn't have to tell Piraiba twice. The Togorian caught up to the man until something in the distance caught his eyes. Then suddenly the creature dropped to all four legs and sped forward with his rear legs propelling him in great leaping strides like a cheetah. Small glints of metal shined at Sven from under the feline's green patched cloak as it flapped in the wind of his running.

After passing sable, Piraiba skidded to a halt kicking up dust as he straightened his back to assume a bipedal stance again.
"Look," he turned back to face them. Slowly his arm reached out to gesture at the soil. "Our tracks are gone." The ground hadn't been disturbed in some time.
Piraiba said something then in a different language as he stared out into the vegetation at the distance.

Stumbling to a halt as she was surpassed by the giant cat, Sable's legs nearly gave out from beneath her. Her body was completely exhausted, fueled now by her determination and the adrenalin pumping through her veins. She looked to Piraiba wide eyed, taking a moment to absorb his words. It was very difficult - her mind was thick with fog and pain, but eventually she seemed to notice the very same thing.

Their tracks, their supply ship, the sensation of the other few inhabitants of the planet... gone.

Sable blinked hard, touching her black hand to her head for a moment before pushing her bangs from her face. Piraiba could worry about their surroundings, she had her brother to find. The Sith Knight stepped off unsteadily, following the feeling that had always pulled her and Sirada together time and time again. A short time later she arrived at the courtyard where hours ago she had set the Prophet up for his Meditation. Sable had left her brother on a raised plinth, but she found it now barren and overgrown. This was not the same place but ... he was here, she could feel it.

She tried to reach out through the Force to sense him, but either she was far too tired or there was something working against her. Where normally Sable could tell with great accuracy where her brother was, his emotions...sometimes even what he was thinking, such was their connection, now she could only read him as if through the same thick fog plaguing her mind. Releasing a pained groan, she looked over as she felt Sven draw up beside her.

"Sven..." she began, turning her gaze to him and eyeing him intensely, "I can't..."

Sven followed up behind Sable his broken arm hanging loosely at his side. He slowed his run to a crawl, and then walked up to his love with very sympathetic eyes. The Dreadlord's son looked very solemn yet comforting. He walked up to Sable and then slipped an arm around her embracing her with his unbroken arm. He had no idea what to say, he was not good with comforting words but he would try for Sable. Sven took a step back from Sable, and then touched her face softly stroking her cheek and trying to calm her down.

“Do you sense him? Feel him at all?” Sven didn't know the answer, he was actually pretty sure that Sirada was dead. He didn't know any better of course so it was easier to ask. Piraba of course was eager to get off this world, eager to leave the planet and the strangeness that it brought.

Sven was also concerned of course, he was no push over so of course he had noticed the changes. However he didn't seem to care, the only thing that was in his mind was Sable and her well being. He knew that she was close to her brother, probably closer than she was to him in fact so if she needed to find him, needed to believe that he was alive. Then Sven would help her. He would help her find Sirada, and do anything she required once he did.

The walking turned into a run with the realization that the laws of physics didn't apply where he was. The only thing that really applied was the fact that there was nothing there, and no matter how hard he ran, he got nowhere. In the end, he stopped because it was futile. He was trapped and he knew it. For a while he just stood there, looking at nothing and seeing everything. It didn't last long, though. He sat down on the floor of nothing and lifted his hands to remove his blindfold before tossing it aside.
Sable.... I can't get to you. I hope you're alright. Please don't be dead.

He knew, of course, that she couldn't hear him. He couldn't even send his thoughts in the Force. Lifting his hands, he buried his face in them and his shoulders shook as a few silent sobs escaped him. Tears dripped from his eyes. What if she never found him? What if no one ever found him? He couldn't be without her. Being without her was the end of everything for him. No point to life. No point to existence. No point to anything. How would she suffer without him there to fill the void? He could already feel it gnawing at him and that was why he was crying. She wasn't there. He couldn't feel her.

It was like everything was ended, and he was stuck in the void for life. Falling backwards, he laythere and gave up. What was the point of it all? She wasn't coming. She probably thought he was dead and gone. She would be better off leaving if she was even alive. He wouldn't blame her. Just let it end.

Sable did not immediately reply to Sven. Her attention had been grabbed by a sudden ping in the Force. It had been minute, as though sensing the shiver of an insect within a vast desert. "Yes," she breathed and stepped away, following the sensation. The frailty of it was of great concern for her, seeding the belief that her brother truly was clinging to nothing but a spider's string of life. Sable couldn't say as to what the truth really was, but the feeling in her gut was that of growing panic.

Reaching out to her brother with the Force, she willed herself to use the energy she just didn't have, and eventually followed the trail to his body laying motionless beneath the foliage. Upon him in a heartbeat, the Force Twin knelt beside his body and delicately reached out to the fabric covering his eyes and pushed it back. They were closed and unresponsive - she checked for a pulse. For a split second she felt her own stop. No pulse, no lifeblood - then why could she still sense him? He was here, she knew he was.

Brow setting in determination, Sable wrapped her arms beneath his figure and slowly, painfully hoisted him off the ground. With Sirada cradled securely in her strong arms the woman turned and walked back towards Sven, "We have to return to Byss."

Sven stared at Sable for a few seconds as she carried Sirada over to him. The man looked to be entirely dead and unmoving, though if he was actually dead he couldn't tell. For the past few minutes Sven had been puzzling out what had happened to them. He didn't know much about the force of course, he was rather ignorant in the subject in fact, but it didn't take a genius to figure out that whatever had happened to them had been connected with the Nexus inside the Valley. From there it had been a simple matter to discern that the Nexus had transported them somewhere else.

Sven wasn't a scientist by any measure, but he was clever enough to know about dimensions and all that junk. Of course it was all a theory, but one that seemed to be entirely on the correct path. The Dreadlord's son assumed that the force had taken them to an alternate dimension, one that was eerily similar to their own.

A part of him wanted to tell Sable to give up, that likely Sirada hadn't made it entirely through. When one thought about it it was simple to puzzle out what had actually happened, or to Sven it was anyway and since they had been at the center of the Nexus they had been transported through just fine. Sirada on the other hand had been far outside the pull. Perhaps his body had made it through...but the rest of him had not been so lucky.

This was all based on a guess of course, so Sven said nothing to his love. Instead he just looked at her, holding his broken mangled limb and gave her a nod. “Okay. Piraiba, can you carry him?”

Sven would need to find their ship...if it was still even here.

Piraiba

Togorian Barricade
[I'm a terrible person x.x I know. Skip over me if need be and I can always tag back in.]

Piraiba had been contenting himself to look for tracks when Sable had been looking for her brothers body. It was his name being called that brought the Togorian running back. The creature canted his head slightly for a moment, but otherwise did not argue as he walked over to Sable and gently lifted her brother out of her arms. To him it would have been like her trying to lift a small pet from someone else.

"I will be careful little sister," added the apprentice softly as he knew the state of her emotions at that moment.

"Force willing, there will be a city or power plant somewhere. Some kind of civilization we can steal a ship from."
