Yuri kept his mouth shut as Jonyna gave her side of the story. A light nod came from the Hound as he pretty much agreed with everything the Jedi said. It was a conclusion he had reached himself not too long ago, and had been working towards continuously. There was no point in dwelling in the past. At a time, he felt justified in his anger and hatred towards the larger galaxy. But over time it became nothing more than a desperate cling to the past.
He might not be a grizzled war veteran like Jonyna, or his mother. But he didn't need to be. She tried desperately to raise a soldier, but he took to his father too much for it. Trying to play soldier cost him an arm, pretty much every relationship and friend he had ever made, and wasted a good few years of his life that he could've spent earning the family business and name.
"Yeah..." He muttered, more to himself than to her as they approached the Ironworks.
There was one thing she mentioned, however, that he couldn't gloss over.
As the Jedi spectacularly cleaved through the heavy chains with an elegant throw of her lightsaber, Yuri's eyes fixated on her.
"You karked a droid?" He asked with a laugh brewing in his voice.
"That's karkin' weird, sis." The laughter couldn't be contained any longer.
"Holy bantha poodoo, I've done some weird stuff but that's..." He couldn't finish his sentence as he buckled over with a hearty laugh.
Any and all attempts at communication broke down as Yuri laughed until tears welled up in his eyes. A laugh he hadn't felt in many years. When composure finally returned to the Mandalorian, he led Jonyna past the reception area and into an enormous cavern built into the mountain. Enormous forges and smelters filled the center of the building, with a variety of cranes, conveyor belts and assembly arms surrounding it all as far as the eye could see. Space for thousands of workers and droids.
The place was sparse, with most of the parts and assembled equipment looted long ago. However, a partially assembled Basilisk stared blankly at them with dead visor and receptors not too far away. The forges were cold, and the assembly line was broken, but a strong sense of pride still clung to the air.
"Master Jedi... Welcome to Maji Ironworks." Yuri proclaimed proudly with arms raised towards the factory.
"If I remember correctly, you're the second aruetii to ever set foot in here." He continued with a glance at her.
"Now... to get this sone of a harpy back up and runnin' again...". He sighed.
Hopefully it was a quick job.
