We're expanding this venture...

[member="Jagen Wren"]

Location: Annaj, Presidential Palace.

Jack dusted his boots and clothes off as he stepped through the door. Ever since taking Annaj the place had boomed with lucrative trade and the small amount of taxes left were making the Colonies rich. There was all manner of goodies on the bar, lined in crystal vases and decanters.

Jack growled, adjusting the red bandanna tied over his head and moved to the bar. His hands cooped up two glasses and a Vase of Annaj local liquor and he set them down with a clank on the table. Jagen was already there, pouring over paperwork for the company.

Jack had a proposition to make and a good one too.

Plus there was the business of discussing ships, expansion, all the normal stuff a budding enterprise needed.

He poured the amber liquid out into Jagens glass and then his own and took a seat at the table off to the side of him, tossing back some the booze with growl and a funny face. Annaj brew was like jet fuel mixed with moonshine. It could put hair on a hutts chest.

"Afternoon Jag, got a minute?"

Wren was ensconced in the paperwork in front of him, he had filed to create a new company, Free Colonial TradeCorp, and did it successfully so. Beforehand he had already had an idea for two ships and a space station, with one of the ships already designed and blueprinted, he had went to the shipyard and presented the blueprints earlier, hoping to get a response soon. So far the company had generated around ninety-nine thousand credits in profit for commercial trading and ship repairs from the Annaj shipyards.

His thoughts were interrupted when his good-ish friend Jack entered the room with one of his favourite things beside ships, alcohol, and poured some in a glass for Wren "Afternoon Jag, got a minute?" Jack said to him. Wren took down the drink in about two seconds flat and let out a rather loud belch, turning to Jack he said "Got all the time you need, alco-I mean Jack.", purposely referring to Jack as booze.

"Ha ha ha. This stuff sucks." Jack quipped, before scooting his seat closer to the table. Both hands fished in his belt until he got a datapad and laid it out on the table. It whirled to life and he grinned. Having bought twenty five percent of the companies shares, Jack had a vested interest in the business now. Specifically for arming and outfitting future colonies members.

"I had a few new designs for us."

Jack tapped the screen, projecting a rotating blue image of an armor. It was old and archaic looking, but somehow still elegant.

"This one's an armor, it's got everything you'd ever need. Multiple gun sheaths, Zilo beast plating, Terrantek underlay combined with Tazoin leather. It'll keep forcers from sensing us and from using the force against our bodies."

Jack flipped through the ship section. Jagen was already caught up on that endeavor.

"Got a few new pistols too. Trouble is we only manufacture ships. Which is where this meeting comes in. I've been looking over some other spots round these parts. The old Taxhouse can be converted into a factory and has ample enough protection. What dod you say we expand our business a bit? Get into the arms and armor business?"

Wren grinned, the arms and armor looked good, and anti-force user items were popular these days. He gathered all of his papers and neatened them, taking a minute to think before looking back at Jack.

"Well, converting that into a factory might cost a lot, but it would work well in the long run. The only reason I've only invested this company in the shipbuilding business was because we only had a shipyard to use, but if we get a factory, we can expand into all sorts of areas of armament and technology like you said, might even produce some droids." Wren said snatching the bottle of booze from Jack and thinking of pouring another glass, but instead drinking out of the vase "This karking stuff is the only thing we've got unless you want to import drinks Mr. Drinking Problem" He said, quite hypocritically.

"Speak for yourself mate. So here's a pitch then."

Jack poured some more liquor for himself and shot it back, grimacing at the rancidness, but delighting in the burn.

"The Taxhouse only needs minor renovations. A few lines, some manufacturing droids and a handful of materials containers. We can get moulds, and furnaces from the locals, there's quite a few crafter's looking for jobs ever since the Fringers pulled out all those years ago. What I'm estimating is half a mil to set up something small."

Jack flipped through another section, bringing up the cost analysis.

"We need to expand business. Making things for the Colonies is great, but some of these larger projects in the future will need a higher level of resources. I'm thinking Techno Union or Danger Arcenau might want a chunk of trade in this region. We can lease out some of the depots, and set up some transportation route. Houses of Alderaan might want to do something as well. We need two contracts, and one expansion. Then we can talk about other things."
