Weeping Angels

Mission Name: Don’t blink
Mission Location: [named planet]
Mission Difficulty: Medium
Mission Objective: An eminent scientist needs someone to investigate the mysterious disappearance of an entire space-station from orbit.

The news had reached the citadel as the padawans curled her toes in the jakobeast carpet of her living module with great interest. It gave her the better experience in the long run but this was a strange thing. A station in orbit of the world had disappeared and they were asking for assistance while the teenager looking out to her robes smiling before she offered some of the bigger things. Heading out to meet the new workers who were looming and making more production of the jet robes she had helped her mother create.

Heading out to Aetan II the padawan was working on what they had there, going over the bare information in her mind from the datapad and what she knew of the planet from Quiet. It was a contested mandalorian world that they seemed to hold for a period of time and then would stop... then would get it back again and find a reason to stop. She knew several mandalorians and they didn't seem that dumb that they would misplace planets they were working on or using for operations but well you never knew with some of them. "Quiet when we arrive start scanning for anything you can."

The AI confirmed while the ship continued to go through hyperspace and she was enjoying the feeling of it there. The jakobeast fur was warm to the touch still after everything everything and thick giving her a few moments as the jedi padawan sat down to meditate. Sorel was on her mind more then anything since the padawan inspired her that there was more outside of the temple that she could be doing and it wasn't just within the silver watch it was in everything. Small endeavors to help others like that that would be able to give insight as well as allow her to practice her skills.

She closed her eyes watching all of it go across the screen with the AI helping her get more information on the planet as well as the mining operations in the asteroids. "Thank you." She sat there wearing ribbons in her hair to make the long hair into a ponytail before she was meditating on the force. her saber extended into a staff and on her hips. She had the force energies to channel through the staff while she was working to commune with the force using the pontite crystals within the staff so that it would wash over her expanding out her senses through the stretch of hyperspace.

Eyes closed, lips parted with her tongue just barely brushing the top of her mouth. Delicately rubbing the tips her finger and thumb into a warm sensation that buzzed with the sound of her own senses in the force. Without any of the gear like her necklaces, circlet, earrings, ring even it was just her that glowed letting the force channel outwards. One of the main reasons why she wore it so others thought they were seeing the equipment instead of a girl born in the rift where the force was strong. Orihime lost track of time while thinking about it and letting the feeling of going past the worlds so full of life.

The force energies were reaching out when they arrived and she could feel the world below. The gaps in the asteroids that she couldn't penetrate with the force or with the sensors as Quiet was bringing up the information. She stood up in the room grabbing her robes as she dressed getting towards the cockpit. She felt out with more of the force energies to touch what she could when she entered the cockpit looking out on the planet with aa small nod of her head. "Alright take us to th last known location and I want full scans throughout the system to see if we can find it."

THe ship moved into position and Orihime was getting a small look at what might possibly be coming to handle them now. All of the major work for this had already been done. They knew it was missing and they knew where it had been.. it wasn't a deep mystery when at least half of it was solved for them as she listened to Quiet. "Initial scans so not debris clouds or weapons signatures so I am feeling confident in ruling out attack by pirates. The station was a stygium processing center and the cloaking crystal would have been used as needed if they had time to cloak the station."

That was the crux of it in her mind, one of the rarest resources in the galaxy was stygium and overall with some of the things she couldn't imagine. Strider Geron had been known to them and the mandalorians who worked with Sasori spoke very highly of the man. He had led two assaults to reclaim Aetan II for the mandalorians after it had been lost because of decisions made by others. He rhad even given some information and notes to the clans who thought it was dumb to reduce their terriroty and give up instead to focus on just selling themselves like common mercenaries.

"Anything like an ion trail from the engines, moving a station isn't easy but it can be done if you are determined enough to get it away and a station full of stygium would be valuable. The processing center for the other worlds in the galaxy to mine and refine it yourself would have to be extremely valuable." She was thinking about it and Quiet seemed to be running the numbers as the screens filtered showing an Ion trail heading off and then a massive jump to hyperspace. "THere looks to be a hyperspace trail but it can be nearly impossible to determine and track."

Orihime was looking at it and going over the information while she was sending it to the Sasori facility that was in the asteroid field. meeting with the ones who had alerted her to the problem. "We are coming in, we'll relay the information to my mother and work on some of the other things. "We are sending in the information, the specs of the station if we can get it to the other stations will be helpful." She was watching some of it as they landed in the hanger of the facility giving a small nod of her head to them when she arrived. Going over many of the things in her head but she looked over the facility.

"We'll relay the information to your mother padawan Orihime." For well things they needed she was able to work without confusion as there was several Ike's to handle. It gave the padawan a smal smile while they started working on the cargo hold. Loading it up with some shipments of stygium for her mother so they could transport it to Shri-Tal and to Rhen Var where she had the different labs. It was the best she could do while waiting to see if there was information for her report about seeing the station. She was back on the ship looking over the stygium and filing the report for the watch with the findings.
