- Blasterproof: As clothing goes, this gown is exceptionally durable against blaster fire in particular, able to withstand even direct hits. It is not indestructible, however - one's best bet for survival if somebody starts shooting is still to run for cover.
- Sleeps With Vibroblades: The gown also boasts some defense against kinetic blows from weapons such as vibroblades, albeit to a lesser extent than energy. It could probably withstand a glancing blow, but a direct hit would be pushing it.
- Waterproof: The fabric has been treated so that it will not retain water (and become heavy) when submerged.
- Fireproof: The gown is resistant to fire damage.
- Pockets: It has pockets on the sides.
- Ionic: The gown has no protection against Ion energy.
- Lightsabers: The gown has no real durability against lightsabers.
- Head and Hands: Are left exposed.
- Mere Clothing: While it would be awesome to wear your wedding dress into battle, please don't.
- Royal Ransom: This is a very expensive piece of clothing, with the added novelty of it being a royal's wedding gown making it all the more alluring for thieves.
Commissioned by yet another royal, the soon-to-be Princess of Ukatis Corazona von Ascania, Thelma found herself tackling a specific type of garment she had never done before: a wedding dress. Corazona specified that she spare no expense, so money was not an obstacle, but the pressure was on to design a dress fit for a princess.
The gown is made from shell spider silk spun into satin to provide protection from assassins. The sleeves/upper part of the bodice and the removable cape are Tyrian shimmersilk spun into tulle, a very sheer fabric. The tulle features embroidery mimicking snow; this winter motif is enhanced by the veda pearls and glass sequins incorporated into the embroidery to give it an extra sparkle. The delicate silhouette of the dress requires that one wear a corset underneath it. Something something metaphors...?
