Weapon Question

Hi judges, I've created a combination dual-bladed lightsaber and Yuuzhan Vong amphistaff in a thread. Is this something sufficiently weird enough to warrant needing a development thread and approval, or okay to run with it?

You'd want to post this in the factory discussion area. The Codex doesn't deal with weapons.
