And as her favourite teashop was nestled in a small little backlane near the edge of the area, the pale lady has taken a longer, more winding path towards it. Moving from shade to shade to offer some reprieve to her sensitive eyes and pale skin, her feet was beginning to ache from the exertion.
Without the escort of her usual coterie, Kishala allowed a faint frown to alight on her painted lips. With the sun at its zenith, she was almost tempted to concede defeat…
