Hatred
The moment he had broken the air of the world, she could feel it, smell it, taste it, and hear it. She knew he was coming before he even decided on the right direction. This world was her, and she was it, one an extension of the other bound by soul. As he approached her, she did not turn to face him, she let him speak.
"If you know of the Maw then you know you walk upon their first world. The place of their first Bone Temple. Also, the first world they were willing to sacrifice to the armies that came after them."
Though that Temple was now long gone from this world, destroyed when the The Confederacy tried to enact its supremacy on the beast that was the Maw. The same day she had bound her soul to this world forever, claiming it as part of her.
"My mission?" Her tone cynical as she let out a little chuckle.
"We?" The thought made her chuckle again.
"I'm all that remains of the Maw, because the rest got seduced by the delusion of empires. I never wanted Empires. Because Empires are just ash to build the next one upon. Endlessly, they rise and fall in a pointless cycle that raises the few and crush the rest."
She looked out over the horizon of Rhand before finally turning to face the man who addressed her. Short in stature she was, black raven hair, pale skin, and orange glowing eyes that burned like suns.
"Tell me, We, you? What are you willing to sacrifice? What are you willing to do? How far would you go? For what it is that you truly want?"
As she noticed him bowing, which caused a grimace to cross her face. She thought about kicking him in the teeth for that. Yet she managed to hold back her disgust and vitriol at such a slight, mostly out of curiosity at what this man was trying to sell her.
"If you ever bow or kneel before me again I will eviscerate you." Her calm sweet tone, turned deathly serious with a hint of madness in it.
