Elian Abrantes
Character
"Oh, come on, man." Elian whispered as he glanced at his communicator one more time, bringing the map back up. He turned the holographic display this way and that with his hand, trying to make sense of the tangled streets around him.
"Gods, I'm totally lost." He stared at the map for another few seconds before something finally clicked. "Ohhhhh." Elian's expression shifted as common sense finally caught up with him. "That's where I went wrong." He turned quickly and immediately bumped into someone. "Sorry about that." Elian voiced, taking a step back as the rough looking Zabrak he had collided with growled in his direction.
"Sheesh, my bad." Elian watched him stalk away before shaking his head. "What a chit head."
The young Abrantes had to remind himself exactly where he was. This was not Naboo. Out here, danger could be waiting around practically every corner, and judging by some of the people wandering the streets, picking the wrong fight could turn ugly quickly. Elian was not exactly one to shy away from trouble, but today was definitely not the day for it. He glanced back toward his communicator, then noticed the establishment looming nearby.
"Oh, a casino..."
Elian lowered the device and looked the place up and down. Neon lights flickered over its worn exterior, while all manner of questionable individuals moved through the entrance. He briefly looked himself over as well, thankful that he had dressed appropriately for the occasion. The smuggler-style outfit was hardly his usual attire, but it did the job. Around here, blending in seemed considerably smarter than advertising who he actually was.
"I've got credits to spend." Elian slipped the communicator away and started toward the entrance. "Let's try my luck."
