[SIZE=11pt]Back in the dawn of the original CIS the Givin of Yag’dhul put their minds to use and produced a warship for the Confederacy made almost entirely of their mighty mathematical minds, used extensively during Operation Durge’s Lance.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]This is rather far from the same vessel.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Using the basic design of the Wavecrest it has been heavily modified for a Frigate that can provide support for other CIS craft or combine it’s impressive amount of munitions with the Turbolasers of other craft. It’s entire role is to bring Concussion Missiles into the battle. This is far from it’s original purpose as a simple Frigate, becoming grossly specialized in comparison to it’s ancestor.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]In terms of design it works with a main frontal shell that “hides” the layers of technology beneath them. A prominent feature of this technology is the large trench that holds the control center and reloading stations for it’s Point Defense weaponry, an area commonly referred to as “The Trap” due to it’s seemingly major target for enemy bombers, though this is the most well defended area of the ship by Point-Defense: by the time they can make a run the Batteries have already started firing.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Of course, “The Trap” could easily be for the operators as well: not much defense against a Turbolaser barrage there.[/SIZE]
