Waterworld

Coming out of hyperspace, the deep blue sphere that was Kamino jumped into view. Construction and expansion efforts were beginning planetside to prepare the Imperial Remnant for population growth, and, of course, conflict.

"Orbital flight mode activated" his ship relayed. Very soon after, the rain began streaking across his front viewport. Coming down lower, waves came into view, some reaching terrific heights. Then, the main city appeared. Bigger, much bigger than he had thought. A communication arrived "Moff Fel, welcome. You may proceed to your pad."

Turning on the landing trackers, the ship glided into position then began descending onto a pad. It was surprisingly stable for the kind of rain. Letting down his ramp, Max made a run for it towards the entry. There, a secretary was waiting to brief him.

"Preparations are in order, sir. Materials and workers should be adequate as of now, however we are able to gather more if needed" his secretary stated. Nodding, Max replied "Good. However, this will not just be an expansion of infrastructure and buildings, but also the cloning program. I will need to speak to the head scientist regarding that."

Making his way down a long hallway, Max looked through the glass into part of the training facility. Surprisingly, there were many, many clones to be seen "Maybe there is less work to do here after all." Reaching an office, he rang the bell, then the door opened. "Welcome, Fel. I trust you have had a glance at the progress?" an older male spoke to him. "Yes, there's been quite a lot done. Tell me, aren't you still using the ten year process?" he queried.

Going towards a terminal and activating a holoimage, the man gestured Max over "Oh, we have gone far past that. Have you ever heard of the Spaarti cloning facilities? We here on Kamino had aspirations to achieve such a thing for a while, and, well, see for yourself" he pointed to the image. A pod was displayed with a timeline. After pressing play, the fascinating progress of the growth of a clone could be seen. Progressing for a short period, the process ended after a year. "Of course, we could do it in much shorter. However, that would place some...mental risks on the clones."

"But surely you wish to see the training?" the scientist remarked. "Yes, well, that's why I'm here."

Taking a turn and shortly down the hallway was a lift. "Going down." The glass around the lift provided an excellent view of the facility surrounding him. The mesmerising sight of innumerable men with the same faces and uniforms, many doing the same activities was certainly exciting. Emperor [member="Tanomas Graf"] would be very pleased, hopefully.

Stepping out of the lift, the scientist led Max in a certain direction "I'm sure you will be impressed with what I'm about to show you." Coming up the an entryway, a sign identified the room's purpose "Weapons range". Upon entering, a long line of clones could be seen with weapons either being made ready, or firing. Looking at a particular clone's shot, remarkable accuracy could be seen. The subject the clones were based on must have been very impressive. "I trust you find their firing satisfactory?" Max smiled and chuckled a bit "Of course. It is beyond expectations."

And then, it was off to the education area. A particular place was set allocated, with screens stretching across the quite large room. Different clones at different age groups were sitting and learning the skills they would need to be more than battle ready, in order to serve the Imperial Remnant. Kaminoans, along with instructors of other species eyed the students. Others were moving off to other areas of training where their skills would be suited to be passed on to the clones.

"Live fire excercise, shall we?" the scientist once again led Max in a certain direction. This demonstration definitely sounded interesting. In an observatory, a huge field completely surrounded by walls and a roof served the purpose of the live fire training. Looking over, other fields could be seen with different specific climates and terrain. This particular one he was being shown was an urban assault.

A platoon of clones entered the field, quickly and skillfully taking up positions. Droids emulating hostile forces appeared slowly, until the clones advanced cautiously. Blaster fire erupted, and the enemy was soon dealt with. "Excercise completed, no casualties."

"One last thing" the scientist smiled. Coming out onto another observation area, another large area was built, truly vast. Landed were ships of significant size, then clones appeared with methodical marching upon the ground. They marched into the ships, along with many other vehicles and equipment. Looking over at Max, the scientist remarked "Magnificent, aren't they?"
