With the reformation of the empire as the Protectorate came many changes to the aesthetic of it's military uniforms and armor. The Watchguard was made in mind that seeing these men and women would inspire hope to those they've come to help. While the armor is not entirely the best in the galaxy, it does provide a level of protection from the most common damage type. The design has been given a green finish as the typical white seems to be less attractive. Any resemblance of Stormtroopers has been removed as well to insure no mistaking what the Watchguard are representative of. The armor is considerable cheap to make, thus making it the most common armor within the new government to date.
