Warriors Need Not Speak (Kaine)

The sound of a melody could be heard spilling from Kiyala's room of sorts. It was a message relating to a duel; tapping the interface to open the message. She found herself feeling taken aback to see it was none other than @[member="Darth Vornskr"] , Kiyala had challenged him long ago when he sat upon the council of the Sith of the Old but now Kaine seemingly grew out of his apparent retire and began the path of power again. Kiyala knew she didn't have time for fear only for results so she evened her breathing while drawing in the dark side drinking in its essence as she rose from her seat. Utilizing minor telekinesis to draw on her armor and weapons as her armored attached itself it began its natural temperature conditioning routines.

In a time before she would began to think on the way to battle but her focus couldn't allow her so. She was no fool a Sith Master could kill her if she slipped but if she didn't he wouldn't be the first of course. As she arrived in the arena awaiting his arrival she began chanting to herself drawing in a deep thick mists that would serve as better element for her skills for the initial part of this battle.

For now she would wait for her prey to arrive her form obscured in shadow but covered in the Rancor Mark 2 armor.

Soon enough Vornskr appeared wearing his traditional black HYDRA Commando armor, his pair of Cortosis battle gauntlets, and a thick robe that covered his armor. His two lightsabers, Rend & Tear, were clipped to the thick leather belt fastened at his waist, but could easily be detached if needed. However; the most prominent weapon on Vornskr's person was the bastard sword, Hearteater, which was slung across his back safely secured in a leather scabbard. A hood covered his head full of dark raven hair, and his emerald gaze pierced menacingly out from the gloom. He strode further inward, his eyes scanning the perimeter of his person as he came to a halt before shouting, "Come out, come out, little dove. You called me here, but you don't greet me? I dare say I am offended..." He did nothing but proclaim those words to the darkness, his weapons un-drawn and his stance tensed for anything. If one looked closely now that he was still, they would realize that Kaine struck an imposing figure. Six foot and five inches tall, powerful muscles coiled underneath his armor, and a literal tidal wave of darkness pouring from his person.

Time would pass before an answer would come; one that Vornskr could hear any ways. " I must thank you for giving me a real opportunity to test my limits." A shadowy figure would emerge bursting from the shadows to Kaine's left. Two strikes aiming to potentially strike from the lower left side of his and travel straight through him while she knew that would not work, a man of his power would surely have some hefty defenses. And she knew that he a man would under estimate her but it does not bother her at all. Her second strike would attempt to strike towards his back and block him from being able to back away from her first attack. He'd have to move to his right and deftly avoid the blades or attempt to take the attack; there were of course possible other options but those seemed the most likely to her.

Vornskr simply raised his left hand, palm facing out, up towards the approaching Kiyala. He neither reached for his lightsabers or moved from the spot he was standing, his eyes only watching as the woman drew near. In an instant a shimmering field of protective energy would encircle Kaine's form right as the blades neared, their edges deflecting off of the shimmering surface. In one fluid motion Kaine brought around his right hand, fingers outstretched, and lightly toughed the inner edge of the protective bubble. The Dark Side flowed through Kaine's inner being to his right hand, and manifested itself as blue lightning that passed through the contact points his fingers made with the shield, and out towards Kiyala at a point blank range. The lightning would not only explode out from the contact points, but as stray arcs of energy struck the energy shield, they would conduct along it's shimmering surface in a dazzling light show that made the shield all the more dangerous. "Only a fool rushes out so blatantly to attack their foes."

"Your right and if you think I'm a fool then your already beaten!" She couldn't help but stick her tongue out at him as he would see what had seemed to be her take the impact of his attack but merely shimmer away into nothingness. In truth, most who she battled used light attacks opening up and thus she could adequately give her illusionary self the proper reactions however Kaine's attack would have killed her or at least several injured her so there was no point in holding on to it.

Kiyala now dwelled within the shadows moving away from the area where she initially called out to Kaine. She kept her sabers cut off and began to conceal herself but the mist would already do a good job of that by nature. Kiyala felt her hands trembling in a foreign emotion powerfully washing over her; was this fear she asked herself. Kiyala refused to believe she could feel this in the beginning of the battle but quick thinking saved her relative indecisiveness.

She followed the trail of the energies Kaine used when destroying what he had thought was the real her at the time. Honing her senses onto his sabers, she attempted to use her combustion technique on both of them hoping at least one would explode.

@Darth Vornskr

"Clever girl..." Kaine mumbled as he watched his lightning pass harmlessly through the illusion, and as he sensed the other's will being imposed upon his lightsabers he tossed them away and watched them rupture and explode. "I do not need lightsabers, child. If you refuse to come out, then I will have to tear you from the shadows you cling so desperately to." He continued to keep the protective shield formed around his person as he knelt down into the dirt ,and placed both hands gently on the ground as he channeled power through the Force. Furious power erupted down in the ground, creating a literal shockwave of kinetic energy that rolled outwards from Kaine in waves that caused the ground to crack and groan as it vibrated with power. As the vibrations began to subside away from him as soon as he unleashed them, his senses snagged onto the possible location from which the individual who destroyed his lightsabers came from and unleashed a quick torrent of lightning in that general direction.

Kiyala could only watch with her force sight at this point, she seemed to be forever thankful for @[member="Kiara Alanna Decoix"] teachings as she grew older. At first the man seemed to want to use the ground to remove her from standing still. Thinking herself even clever than that she leaped sprinting up the wall before thinking to use her Inertia. However, it seemed Kaine had other ideas for her as a devastating array of lightning arced it's way toward her current position. Extending her palm and focusing herself light purplish ribbons streaked out towards the lightning taking delight in it's power devouring it only for it to be channeled into the Sith Amulet for even more delicious energy.

Her head nodded back a little in the pleasure of the power before she continued to use her Inertia to have her running along the ceiling after drawing in Kaine's energy from the lightning his force presence began ever clearer to her. She then stopped drawing inertia upon herself after wrapping herself in a force shield. She would be only mere meters behind and above Kaine at this point. She rocketed down with the force of a juggarnaut, and in her head she said "Damn his alchemized armor, damn his power, damn this whole arena to Chaos !" As she crashed down not only would the shockwave be immense but now utilizing the rest of Kaine's donation she had left and little of hers as the crushed boulders and rocks that Kiyala and Kaine so gracious donated would be drawn into Kaine as Kiyala leaped into the air once more to move herself out the way.

If Kaine thought he would have an easy victory; he would be sadly mistaken. . . .

@Darth Vornskr

Kaine merely poured more strength into his protective bubble as Kiyala came crashing down near him, the shockwave passing around his shield and the boulders smashing against the shimmering surface of the bubble. With a series of movements in the Force, Kaine flung those debris that had collected around his shielded force at Kiyala as she jumped away. After sending the literal field of debris back at the young woman, Kaine reached out to try and grab the child with telekinetic Force and fling her into the oncoming boulders. Whether or not the attack worked, Kaine didn't care, but he would not let up on the offensive now that the tide had shifted slightly. From the palm of his hand bellowed forth thick tendrils of greenish smog that would snake and worm their way across the ground towards Kiyala, and when they came within reach they would attempt to latch onto her and drain her of her vitality. Force Drain was a useful ability to use when fighting a Force User, as it allowed one to drain your opponent of strength and energy, and transfer it back to yourself as replenishment.

@[member="Kiyala Demont"]

Her armor would make sure that none of the debris would actually puncture her skin but that was not the problem. Despite it's protection it was not equipped for defense against impact damage which would be very bad for her bones but luckily she was smart enough to throw up a force shield before the impact. As she got hammered down by rain of debris she felt Kaine's oppressive energies attempting to grip her. With a breath she managed to inhale his energies through the use of tutamis breathing fresh vitality through her bruised bones but it wasn't enough for what was calling. Kiyala wrapped herself in her own energies knowing she could not attempt to win a tough of war against a Master who hadn't even taken a hit yet so instead her energies were destructive it would meet his draining with a withering presence only serving to dissipate his energies instead of draining it. It took less energy to dissipate energy than it took to drain it and with Kaine seeming more formidable than ever Kiyala would have to keep on her toes.

She calmed herself in the wake of his darkness she would not attempt to match him with something that he claimed to be the master of. He called to darkness and well Kiyala called to destiny and the inner light that came with it. She expanded the orb of withering energies around her to speed up the process of what was hopefully stripping Kaine of the massive energy he would be using keeping up a force drain and a master leveled technique. As she looked up at Kaine with a weirdly misplaced smile on her face, she began to step towards Kaine closing the relatively space between them with her withering destructive embrace.

@Darth Vornskr

Closing the space between them may have been the poorest choice the child could have taken. Kaine widened his stance and suddenly charged forward with tremendous speed enhanced by the Force to barrel into her. As it was, Kaine stood over an entire foot taller than Kiyala, and was rippling with a muscle mass that had been honed for many decades. Even without his lightsabers he was a formidable opponent in close quarters, and he completely prepared to use all of his knowledge this day. He'd launch a barrage of punches combined with a couple of elbow and knee jabs, as well as the occasional leg kick or sweep, his eyes never leaving Kiyala's own he he unleashed his attack. "You fight well, child. Better than most Sith I have born witness to. A shame that you have not fully embraced the darkness, you could be a powerful Sith."
