So, I was thinking today about perhaps running a tournament and getting to read some good duels outside the swathful of invasions, and then I had another idea. What if instead of a normal tournament I ran it as a team PvP? Spice things up a little as it were. So I decided I'll run a tournament and have it be doubles. Anyways, here's the rules:
-You must have a reason to be fighting with your teammate: I don't want to see Darth Vader and Yoda tag teaming for the hell of it.
-If I deem you or your partner to be GMing you lose by default: Be a good sport. Know what you're doing.
-A winner may be called at 20 posts(excluding my opening post): This doesn't mean you have to stop, it only means I'm not going to hold everyone up waiting for you.
-Both Teammates Must Remain Conscious: If one of you loses both of you do. Pretty simple.
-You will be carrying Implants: Specifically IME's, which will be removed after your matches. Surgical scarring optional. Put in because it's not a true Valik thread if it isn't a possible dev thread.
-First Come First Serve: I plan on having four teams, eight if there's a lot of interest, but no more after that. Only one person is required to reserve a spot for a team, provided they do have a partner on call.
Third place(determined by a match off between losing semi-finalists) finalists will receive a VEWB, second place finalists will receive a PDA, and I will build a custom item of technological or alchemical origin for both of the tournament victors.
I know I'm not the only one whose always wanted to see PvP on the board, so those of you who've been waiting here's your chance. Have fun, I know I will.
