FAMOUS WARDENS OF THE SKY

ON MUTAKAI

"What distinguished the Matukai from other organizations was the way by which they made their own bodies the primary focus of their abilities." ―New Jedi Order compilation on the Matukai[src] wookiepedia "Mutakai was and still is a primary Martial art, focusing on achieiving balance between body, mind and force of action." - Kylie Talor
ON TERAS-KASI

"The Typical Pre Gulag Wardens used no blasters, believing them dangerous inside a ship. Instead they adopted many forms of martial combat. One such form Teras Kasi was a for practitioners developed to disarm, disable and subdue opponents with with blasters or lightsabers. Very few Wardens carried lightsabers in those days, though now they are more prevalent." -Kylie Talor

INSTINCTIVE ASTROGATION

"Amazingly many Wardens had the ability to jump their bodies or starframes throughout hyperspace with no hyperdrive. One such person's that perfected this ability was the Merrill family."

"Instinctive astrogation was highly common among wardens, allowing them to plot hyperspace jumps and calculate their position in the verse using only the force and a standard hyperspace compass. Families ten to pass it down in the genes, though it can be learned with great practice. Famous Instinctive Astrogators are the Merrill's, Starchasers, and Raxis' families."

EARLY PRE GULAG WARDENS

"Chloe Blake and Jorus Merrill laid the framework for the Wardens and their society coming out of the Gulag Plague era. Notably many of their first adventures were raids against the Sith, or the acquisition of Jedi Knowledge. One such famous piece of that is the Holocron of First Knowledge, which was typically passed down warden to Warden for protection, and later to Jedi Masters in the Order of the Selab. It was a great responsibility to be its keeper and guard it from evil."

"Later era Wardens focused primarily on acquiring Jedi relics and Holocrons and safekeeping them from the Sith. Even later than that they explored deep space, fought Pirates, Xeno Raids, Slavers and Imperials. They were never a fan of big government."

MODERN WARDENS

"Modern Wardens are still a furtive few and a secret society. They hold a myriad of positions of power among major superpowers. Some have vanished from known history, other have kept up the fight against Imperialism and Piracy. With a new age comes new concepts. Many are actual Jedi force tradition. Some have adopted Blasters and projectile weapons in a reversal of common pre gulag values. Some even split off the create the foundation of what would become the Outer Rim Coalition Judges."

"Wardens are for the most part fringer force folks, but there is a very strong tie to the Jedi Orders of the galaxy among them today."

JACK RAXIS' WARDENS OF THE VOID CODE (CLOSEST THING TO CODIFIED CREED)

The code is something of a guideline, like this.

- Wardens of the Void first and foremost are protectors. They root out evil and destroy it where they encounter it.

- They do not abide Slavery or wanton killing without good reason, and avoid it at all costs.

-They do not abide Piracy, and are stalwart opponents as such

-They will always answer a distress call, never abandoning a fellow spacer

-They seek out artifacts and ancient temples, attempting to copy, learn and preserve knowledge

-They never share knowledge or artifacts with sources of evil

-The Wardens of the Void is a secret Order. Inductees are handpicked, reviewed and vetted in. (This means you'll have to do a thread to join.)

-Each Warden carries a Codex, detailing the knowledge they have learned and places they have visited, as well as the people they have met and or protected. The Codex is kept secretly on the Warden and passed on to their protege or another member of the order when they die. It's a fail-safe, to keep everyone informed.

-Wardens have no secret bases, but convene in the shadows, talking when they must.

- No one Warden outranks another, we are all equal.

- Wardens always answer the call of another Warden for help

- Wardens must always keep their secrecy, not letting others know lightly whom they are. {SRC}

THE CODE OF THE OUTER RIM, BY JORUS Q. MERRILL

  • Only shoot first if you have to.
  • Honor distress calls and ships in need.
  • Take no slaves or indentures
  • Reject no stowaways or castaways.
  • Pay tariffs when they're fair or when you need to.
  • Never mutiny against a sane captain.
  • Only screw over those that earn it.
  • Never lose your sense of proportion for a cause or a grudge.
  • Don't impose your principles, whatever they are.
  • On someone else's ship, live like you're a guest, but work and fight like it's your home.
  • Give a fair share of salvage to the heirs when you can.
  • Improve your skills and pay your own way.
  • Slavers and reavers get no quarter. [SRC]

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Researched and produced soley by Kylie, the result was a medium black book with a set of White embossed wings on the front. The book itself was sealed using Jal'Shey magic to protect it from detection of the Darkside.

This publication is highly protected among its holders. It would be incredibly hard to gain access to it without their approval.

Fourth verse, same as the first, re: image credit.

I also need you to link to where the quoted writing from Jack and Jorus are from to give them proper credit, and to remove the spoilers for all non images.
