Wanting to Start

Hi there, I am super new to this site and RPing in general and I knew this would be the place to get some ideas flowing regarding starting threads with other people. I was wondering if anyone wanted to help me start and write with me? I am super excited to start out on this website and I hope I can get some threads going with people!

Imperial Arbiter of the Outer Rim
Hey there. Welcome to Chaos. I'd be happy to arrange a meeting of some sorts if you want to, whether it is a private thread or in the midst of a far more complicated situation... Just pm me so we can work something out!

I am mostly interested in anything! My character can really go in any direction since he's like a blank slate.
Well this reply is gonna be a little long, i can link specific characters later. But I’m on mobile at the moment. I’ll just toss some up and let you decide.

Salis: this one, she’s a very much insane human female force user. My oldest account but second oldest character. Salis has basically been killing or fighting most of her life, simply cause she likes it. She’s powerful and skilled in the force (probably the only character that I use even semi consistently who has a wide and strong range, most others have a few strong abilities or a lot of skill). She now holds the position of Major, a self chosen demotion after her and her husband merged the guild he made into a larger guild that already existed, the Zweihander union. She’s grown a slight conscience (a word I can never spell right) over time, and after her husband’s death that grew a little more. Still, she’s one of my most selfish characters except when it comes to her family (sort of).

Rocho Krul: a trandoshan force user. He once was an imperal knight in the Fel empire, and occasionally a bounty hunter (mostly just a hunter). He left however when he saw it began to fall apart. He is my first character, and probably the most combat experienced thread wise aside from Salis. He has a much more clear code, but still not quite a good guy. Amusingly, his main personal ship is also called the Challenger. Though he also has a carrier he uses.

Ardon Tillian: now are good guys. Ardon is a smuggler and a pilot working for/with a family enterprise. He’s a much better person than the previous ones, though also a much worse fighter comparatively. He is force sensitive but only barely, basically just higher reflexes/very slight precog. He also has had to have some cybernetic replacements due to an injury, cause his communicating ability to be very off, but on the upside he can preform math far better and communicate with tech.

Shavara Warksher: Powerful shapeshifter, who mostly stays around the eternal empire due to it being where her homeworld is. She secretly works with the rebels under the name of a long dead alchemist on her home world, and publicly works as a scientist/alchemist (alchemy is common for force sensitives on her planet). She isn’t the most skilled combatant, but her power and tools/weapons do help. She’s very kind and genuinely tries to help others. Though a telepath, she avoids being intrusive about it when she remembers to.

Xaelis/Ganii: bit of an ofd part here. Technically two characters. One is a zabrak female scavenger. The other is a force user kaleesh trapped in a stone for the last few hundred years. Xaelis being the kaleesh. He has a few abilities that he is very good at and quite skilled, but he’s also limited in how to use them. Ganii wears the stone he’s trapped in, allowing the two to communicate and work together. They have no ship, so often travel by paying others to bring Ganii and her cargo.

of these, only Salis or Rocho are likely to realize your character is force sensitive. Rocho is extremely good at recognizing force presences, and tends to know who is who based on that alone. Salis is less good at it, but her strength and regular combative nature does give he a higher chance than normal. Shavara could possibly know, but due to the way her world is everyone seems like a force sensitive, so even if she sensed it, she might not recognize it as being all that out of place.

Any ideas off of these?

I gotta say I would like a thread where someone recognizes Khoan's force sensitivity. I feel like it would be a nice opportunity to write some stuff having to do with the force. I feel like I'll have to go with Salis :D

Sweet! Get to use Salis yet again! Eternal Empire and Zweihander Union territory (if I could figure out where that second one was...) are both places she'd easily be found. But Salis can still move around a bit so it's mostly good where you want to set one up. Some possible locations outside of those territories could be places where powerful beings or beasts might be found (always gotta satisfy the desire for conflict), or a vacation location as long as it's not in enemy territory. Alternatively we could possibly do a space one, or at a refueling location, were those options too inconvenient.

I feel like a space one could be nice. Just find each other in space accidentally or something perhaps?

Khoan Fellis Khoan Fellis
Can work with that yeah. Salis has two personally owned ships (she does use one for military purposes though) but I think the combat frieghter is the more logical one to use, cause the other is a very small fighter. Hm, now we just need a reason for why they find each other in space. Well, we could go with utterly absurd chance (or force shenanigans) and have one of them just letting themselves float in space for the emptiness of it (not due to a fuel shortage or damage, just enjoying the...utter lack of anything for a very long way) and the other just happens to come out of hyperspace nearby, or felt compelled to. Salis is incredibly curious, so there are times she will regularly just accept feelings as a reason to search or do things (if it doesn't show too much risk). And if she noticed Khoans force sensitivity, that'd prompt her further.

Edit:

Forgot any other options lol. If you have any ideas throw them in the ring!

Another option could maybe be they both answer an emergency call? Salis doesn't necessarily care about saving anyone, but there might be pirates, and she's plenty happy to fight.

I would think a distress call might be the most reasonable to see each other together. Might be pirates and we answer it and team up? I don't know I am just throwing that idea around but that one seems to make the most sense to me.

Good with me! Probably gonna bring her NPC and droid with her then. Not the biggest fan of starting threads myself, but especially since you're new maybe I should lol.

If this is the plan, do you want me to start it? You're certainly welcome to if you want though. If I do it, it could be done either tonight or possibly tomorrow. No real certainty cause it's late and I'm tired lol.

I have never started one before and I would be more comfortable with you starting it if you want :) And you can do it tomorrow if need be because I am getting a bit tired myself.

If you want to explore your Force sensitivity, I'd be down to make that happen. Also, if you're interested in the idea of militaristic Jedi hellbent on taking down the Sith, then we can definitely make something happen there.
I’m down to explore the force sensitivity part but I’m regards to allegiance I think I’ll stick to keeping myself open because I really do not know which side to choose yet haha but I would still be down writing with you!
