Wanted: Dead or Alive

"Then frak it, throw them all! And use this!"

Hala reached down to her leg holster and unsheathed her Scatter gun, a laser shotgun of types and slammed in into Duncans hands. More blaster fire was burning and skipping across the top of the bar. Stray shots impacted bottles on the rack behind them, showering her with alcohol and glass.

"Rarrghh!"

She rose again, letting loose her entire clip. Round after round flew into the crowd. At this point she was aiming to suppress and drop as many bodies as she could. Less bodies meant less guns pointed in her direction. The kid was saying something stupid again and she frowned, thumbing the release and ramming in another clip from her crouch.

Then some kind of Force wielding goon came through the door, shouting about stop firing or everyone dies.

To hell with it all, She thought.

"Kid you're the one that got us in this fraking mess in the first place! So do me a favor and can it!"

Another trio of rounds sailed over the bar and her brain calculated a quick solution.

"Everyone fire at the wizard! Kid, use that saber and cut through the back of the bar! Right to the street!"

How long combined fire would slow the Force user she didn't know, but hopefully long enough.

It was a matter of seconds until the opening was made, but a shot flew past his head and he screamed "Give me some cover will ye!".
After a lot of shots the opening was there he then said, "Come up guys!", he said as he left the bar, de-activated his white saber, stored it and kept the Aquamarine one up.

Duncan sighed and do what [member="Hala Jast"] said and throw his five smoke bombs, another curtain of thick smoke lifted this was bigger and cover the whole place, the fire stop as it was dificult to aim at something with all the fog, Duncan saw a figure getting close to their hide out so he stand up and shoot him twice with his blaster gun, the man fell down and Duncan looked at Hala

"We have to move now and change our cover, they don't know where are we, at least this will give us time" Said, then he talked to the kid ( [member="Undin Jaii"] )

"Hey kiddo make a hole in a wall with your glowing stick that would be our escape route"

[member="Acaleus Thorn"] [member="Thane Drexel"]

"What are you talking about? I've already made a hole look behind you.". Undin tought that he was probably drunk aswell and didn't mind it

There was too much going on now. The kid cut the hole like she asked, which was the first smart thing he'd done since busting in and killing the Twi'lek. Hala was bubbling with rage so hot it flushed her cheeks even redder than any booze ever could. In all her time she'd never seen anything like this.

The kid asked for a ride too. The nerve!

"Thanks kid!" She yelled, shoving past him out the door and unholstering her other Scattergun. The thing about these babies was that they sprayed a wide pattern of shot, almost impossible to deflect all of it with a glowstick of doom. That's exactly what she carried it for. That and the effect of blowing away someone she didn't like at point blank range. They made big messes.

"Here's your payment!"

And she levelled the Scattergun, pumping twin blasts at him in a rapid movement.

Was it a good thing to do? Probably not, but outlaws weren't nice people. She kept firing, hoping to at least incapacitate the kid so the locals could scoop him up and spare her the trouble of running while they tangled with him.

"If you guys are still down I'd love that ride! Otherwise I’ll find my own way off this rock!"

Acaleus intercept her "So you are the one who created this mess...and the one selling the armor..." said standing in front of [member="Hala Jast"] with a squad of his security around her "If you need a ride out, like you just said, that would be the payment for your goods" a drunk man got out of the bar with a hand grenade ready to commit suicide. Acaleus quickly created a force wall to protect them from the explosion, that destroyed some windows in a couple of blocks.

For a second she lowered her Scattergun and gave him a piercing stare. This Wizard was powerful, and had even stopped them all from perishing. One train of thought was just to open up on him where he stood. She wasn't too keen on losing her entire stock of ill gotten goods. Besides what did the man want with the armor anyways?

"You local customs or something?" She snorted.

Not that any of that mattered. Nar Shaada's government was a joke.

"I'll give you a lightsaber, I keep the armor, you give me a ride. Kill the Juggernauts or throw the kid to 'em and I'll give you all three of em."

And then the Scattergun came back up, aimed at his chest.

"What's your call?"

Thane ducked in behind his marines who's armor could take these pea shooters. Blasting a drunk or two, Thane and his men moved towards the door, Hala could followed behind.

Sir, there's word of a sniper, and another Jedi type. Orders??

They seem harmless, let's move out. Hala! Coming?

Jedi, yeah, you in the white, we're leaving, so have a good time cleaning this mess up. With that, Thane and the marines moved into the mouth of the dropship. Thane stood at the top of the ramp and awaited the response from the female smuggler.

Undin was lucky that his Jedi-like reflexes saw the gun pointing at him, and he ducked quickly enough to not get hit. He said "You're making yourself hard. My type of gal" , he wasn't even mad at that shooting, the outlands were a dangerous part and he understood her reasoning.

[member="Hala Jast"] [member="Duncan Pierce"] [member="Acaleus Thorn"] [member="Thane Drexel"]

"Deal" said crushing the scattergun "Sorry but i dont like things pointing at me" an AT-120 landed swiftly on the street beside them, with a woman on the hangar door "Come everyone quick!" Acaleus guards retreat one block away, leaving the assassin alone. He sprint towards the death in fire. The mercenaries started shooting at him. Acaleus simply turned on his two wrist lightsaber, parrying the bolts to the sides. The first enemy that was close enough got his neck broken. The second his eyes burned. He was fast and deadly as the spraying death of the blasters guns, but the difference was that he never missed.

In less than a minute, almost all of the enemies in the block were turned into corpses and the only alive was Acaleus "Now we can make a trade. Thousand credits for the armor, what do you say?"

[member="Undin Jaii"] [member="Thane Drexel"] [member="Hala Jast"]

Thane figured Hala was swept away by the pretty white cloak, she went with the Jedi type and the twerp and the poor mannered bounty hunter.

"Move in on that shuttle, provide cover from the air, pilot!" Thane called over the dropship comm.

"I was going to give you more than you asked for miss Jast, if you have any more of those pretty red glow sticks. I'll double your asking price and guarantee safe passage off this rock for the time being. Meet me at my ship at these coordinates...Mine's the one with the fleet surrounding it." Thane spoke into the comm Hala had given him. Home One Was stationed in a high orbital position alongside the rest of Red Fleet.

The Dropship closed its doors and accelerated to exit the atmos. There, amidst the normal traffic of Nar Shadaa's trade lanes, the Red Fleet lay in wait of their leaders return.

Between a rock and a hard place. She was making allies and enemies en masses today. On one hand Acaleus had helped her clear the block, on the other hand he'd barged in wild as a Nexu and tried to control the situation. He didn't quite get the gist the way Hala wanted him to. Let outlaws run their own affairs.

His offer was tempting, if but for the fact it was an easy out, but she could literally steal anything, and find her way solo from this hellhole.

Then there was Drexel who seemed to have a much better handle on what it was she was after. Double asking price meant a way bigger profit. Loyalties, loyalties, loyalties. They always seemed to disappear with creds and that was just fine by her standards. The only issue was ditching this Acaleus figure, whom had crushed her Scatter Gun.

"New plan, I’ll just go solo."

And she didn't wait around for the answer. Her eyes darted to a speeder in the alleyway. An old swoop, which she was very used to driving from her days as gangster.

Without a second look, thought or word she dug her heels, pounding the dirty street as she sprinted to the vehicle. One hop on the saddle and a kick of her foot reved the engine to full power. Hala took off screaming down the street in a cloud of dust...

"Welp... There it goes a nice opportunity to find a partner for jobs...

Duncan sighed as he saw [member="Hala Jast"] drive away in the speeder, he then looked at [member="Undin Jaii"] and tossed a credit chip to the kid

"Got to admit, you save us there kiddo, you earned"

Then Duncan walked down the streets towards the space sport, he opened the landing ramp of his HWK-290 and enter, he sat on the pilots chair and the computer of the ship talked

"DO WE HAVE A JOB?"

"Nope... I found troubles... It's something i guess... Anyway we need credits and right now i don't believe i'm going to find something here, Hawk activate the holoprojector and show me a list of Bounties, maybe i found something intresting"

"AS YOU WISH"

A list of most wanted appear, Duncan analysed the list and thought who should hunt.

"I think i found our next victim... First things first, we have to go i will need to get some supplies"

The HWK-290 take off and jumped to hyper space with direction to Coruscant

//End scene//

<It was fun, sorry i didn't do much it was late and i wasn't paying much attention, i hope we met in another RP>

Undin de-activated his saber and stored it in his belt. He then took the credit chip and put it in his pocket.

He then walked to his V-Wing and said to Thar Kmel to startup the ship and set course to Coruscant.
"How did the hunt go?" , Thar asked.

"The hunt went good, some chumps showed up. Added some more kills to my killstreak. Good day you know."

The V-Wing then left the planets atmosphere, entered hyperspace and minutes later, they were in Coruscant.

Thane now stood aboard the bridge of Home One. Analyzing the Ion trails from the two other departing crafts. Both went towards the center, to where he could only assume the largest gathering of hoodlums could go...Coruscant.

As for Hala, Thane had the communications officer track her via the commlink shed given him. Sipping a glass of 20,000 credit scotch, Benefactor followed the infrared scanners as Hala made her exit from the Jedi.

"Keep tracking her. I wanna know where she's headed." He ordered.

[member="Acaleus Thorn"] [member="Thane Drexel"]

Down two blocks away was the shadowport they were staying at. Hala made all haste gunning the bike through tight gaps in the throng of pedestrian traffic. The gates to the port were a meagre set up of dull steel plates on rusty hinges.

Which were smashed open as the head of her roaring speeder made contact with them. The gangster guards outside turned to try and flag her down, livid she'd just busted their bosses gates.

"Sorry but not sorry at all gents!" She roared, leaning down close to the handlebars. Draxel had already fired up the ship and opened the ramp. Hala aimed for it, skidding into the CR-90's cargo hold full force.

"Yaargh!"

One thumb killed the power. She was going too fast, and had to lay down the bike. With a zeal she tossed it, letting it spin across the deck and smash while her back met the hard deck plates with a whooshing crunch. Air was scarce, forced from her lungs and all she could do was wheeze.

"You good?" Called Drexal over the PA system.

She wheezed some more, then managed a few words.

"No, get us the hell out of here!"

"Aye aye cap!"

The Rodians little fingers worked the consoles and within seconds she felt the familiar vibrations of her beleaguered engines spinning up to full blast. Gravity forces increased, marking what she could only guess was a sharp turn and then there was a drop in the pit of her stomach.

They were accelerating, right up through the atmosphere.

The signature from the comm made a turn into what appeared to be a private hangar. A CR-90 took off and was headed off-world.

Lieutenant, hail that vessel. I'd like to speak with miss Jast one more time.

Yes Benefactor!

This is Thane Drexel, am I speaking with a Miss [member="Hala Jast"]? If so, I'm still interested in the items for sale, as well, I can offer safe passage out of the system to wherever you need to go. I am willing to provide any assistance, supplies, fuel, etc. Please respond.

Thane sent the transmission and sat back in his chair, sipping on the bourbon he'd taken from the drunk at the beginning of this en devour.

[member="Thane Drexel"]

"Some ones hailing us cap'n!"

Space cowboys for real was the name of the game. This Thane Drexel seemed real adamant about the whole thing too. She had goods and could tell he was desperately wiling to buy. The constant hails was a dead give away.

Ever the swashbuckling privateer smuggler queen she nodded and brushed her brown hair back across her head with a greasy glove. The vessel behind her had seen better days. Rusty, unkempt and mostly just a pile of bolts and scrap plates, but it was a fast ship and always got to where it needed to go.

"Hail the other Vessel Drax."

"Aye Cap'n, lines open!"

"Thane nice to still see you around." She spoke, folding both hands in front of her and resting them on the gunbelt slung about her wide hips.

"I reckon you're still on for the buy then? I'll accept your offer. I'll be needing fuel, as well as an escort. Meet me at The Wheel. It's a shady little space station with tons of casinos. Should be way easier to talk there, no need to put out unsecured info over the comms. Y'know pirates might be watching!"

And it was a true thing. Most of the tips she picked up herself were rogue comms messages with poor encryption. More than one convoy had gone down under her guns, and she was determined not to let someone else take advantage of the same mistakes.

[member="Hala Jast"]

Thane looked over to the comms officer who'd given him a thumbs up as Jast replied to his jail.

"Very well miss Jast. I can have a fueling ship meet you in my fleet. We will provide escort to the Wheel. I anticipate our meeting. Thane Out!"

With that Thane cut the feed, and began preparations for a Dropship with a fuel tank to meet Hala's vessel. Then he dispatched orders to protect Hala's vessel in transit to The Wheel.
