DESCRIPTION
With the loss of her last ship to piracy, Brooke Waters has invested in her new star sloop, the Riptide. The ship was found on Pamarthe, a wholesale purchase from an old star sailor who had retired from the work needed for ship back home on Pamarthe. According to him, the ship is an old Wanderer 35 sloop, a ship designed to get someone from point A to point B under minimal traditional engine power and in relative comfort.

The ship was, for lack of a better term, a mess, as were so many starships in the galaxy that were picked up third hand. Brooke fell in love with the ship's lines and had the vessel towed to the Dawn Chaser and Starchaser Enterprises. From there she gave it an azure paint job to reflect the Blue Corals that her witch clan were so fond of. The sails deploy on the sides and out to the front. When the sails are deployed, the ship gains speed and shielding but does lose maneuverability without additional work.

Having traditional sailing experience, Brooke and her Starchaser Enterprises team helped make provide the team in the cockpit relative manual control over the sails to tighten and loosen the sails to allow for more maneuvering and speed. Additionally the team was able to create a larger Sun Jammer style sail to help push the ship down the solar winds.

The ship was designed to be set up for creature comforts, with a great food prep room, the main cabin has large glasteel windows to provide a 360 view for those not at the controls. As it is a vessel that Brooke is using to travel the galaxy, it comes equipped with a small med bay and repair suite.
