Walking the Rest (open)

Ever sense he became aware of the force with the help of his mother, Jayden had heard of the Jedi. After recently landing on Kashyyyk and finding the Silver Rest he couldn't believe the feeling the area permeated. Through the force it was like a sun had ignited warming him to his core. He had nearly lost himself to the feeling of life flowing at and through him as he took each step. He thought back to the constant state of aggression he had grown up around and felt pity for those who had not been able to experience this. After all these years he finally gave in and relaxed. Letting go of his sense of self, his perception grew to encompass the surrounding area. He could sense individuals glowing like beacons casting and merging their light. He could feel the general sense of peace and calm of those covered by their glow. He felt the small flicker that was his light begin to join and weave which caused a sense of panic that drew his perception inward closing the connection he had just felt. Falling to his knees Jayden panted and filled with a sense of longing. He knew he would strive to gain control of himself and his fear so that he could be one with that light. For only the moment lasted a few seconds it was of the most profound feeling he had ever experienced. His mind set on guarding and joining himself to that light, he picked himself up and stepped towards the steps to the Silver Rest.

We're more ghosts than people.

Red stood at a sentry post near the steps. Ever since he joined the Order, he had been put on this duty, as he hadn't joined any of the divisions in the Order, like the Rangers. And since he had extremely capable warfare skills, he was put on sentry duty until he decided. To greet the people coming and going and to watch for anyone trying to sneak in. He turned his head and looked around. He noticed Jayden approaching the steps.

"Hey, lieutenant," Red said and turned to his superior standing next to him, "I haven't seen him before. You recognize him?"

The lieutenant looked at Jayden. He shook his head, "No, I've never seen him before. He must be a newcomer. You know what to do."

Red nodded and walked towards Jayden. Red stopped 7 feet in front of Jayden and held out his hand, signalling him to stop.

"Halt," Red ordered. "We've never seen you around here. Are you a newcomer? State your name and business."
