STRENGTHS

Resilient: Having been treated with Sith Alchemy, the Wabbajack is resilient against the blades of lightsabers and blaster bolts.

WEAKNESSES

Incantation: All combat utility is removed from the weapon when uttering the word "Wabbajack" - as it immediately transforms into a mouse. And not a particularly large one at that.

Light: As a weapon born of Alchemy, concentrated Force Light can utterly destroy it.

Quality: Although treated with Alchemy, the material utilized in its construction and the - admittedly - shoddy craftsmanship has resulted in a weapon that can and will break under extreme duress.

DESCRIPTION

Darth Metus never heard the end of it.

He had intended to take his Apprentice, [member="Srina Talon"], to the Petranaki Arena in order to witness the Golbah Games. However, the Gamemaster's own wicked devices turned a brutal contest of strengths into a game of flinging stale bread at the enemy. Literally. As a result, Srina - in her eternal professionalism - decided to make sure Darth Metus never lived down the waste of her time. Justifiably flustered, the Sith took out his frustrations in the creation of a "gift" for Cairyn Midore.

At a glance, the Wabbajack is a sleek weapon born in the image of ancient, Jedi katanas. It was even treated with alchemy in order for it to be able to resist the blades of lightsabers and blaster bolts to a "standard" degree. However, Darth Metus intended this gift to be a measure of vindication - and thus the craftsmanship was less than stellar. In fact, although the weapon was alchemized to be resistant to the aforementioned threats, its method of construction was so meager that the average duel would see the blade snap in two.

But, that wasn't even the best part.

Upon presenting the weapon to the Gamemaster, Darth Metus gave one piece of advice. To harness the weapon's true power, simply raise it above your head and utter the phrase: Wabbajack! Doing so does not unlock some latent, game changing ability but rather awakens the Talisman of Transformation embedded in the pommel. The result is an instantaneous transfiguration of the weapon into an average, field mouse.

And assuming the wielder survives the encounter and can catch the frightened creature, uttering the phrase again will return the weapon back to its original state.

The moral of the story? When Darth Metus gets an earful, everyone loses.
