When life gives you Mandos, make Mando'ade

Image Source: Canon utility walker, unnamed, patterned after the much smaller CLL-M2 binary loadlifter.
Intent: A strong, clumsy, generic utility walker for construction and mining purposes. Also I may have watched Ripley's Waldo fight the xenomorph queen once too often.
Development Thread: None
Manufacturer: Silk Holdings
Model: W41-D0 Utility Walker
Affiliation: Open market. Found throughout the Rim.
Modularity: The arms can fit a variety of modular attachments (binary loadlifter/forklift appendages, various gripping hands, cutting implements, mining gear, etc.).
Production: Mass-produced
Material: Duranium, glasteel
Role: Utility vehicle
Height: 12m
Length: 3.5m
Width: 6.5m
Weight: 11,000kg, equivalent to a large backhoe
Minimum Crew: 1
Optimal Crew: 1
Propulsion: Bipedal
Top Speed: 30kph, equivalent to a large backhoe
Armaments: None. Gripping/cutting attachments could serve as improvised weapons, as could the walker's bulk, but only against large and obvious targets. If you absolutely must wrestle a rancor, a utility walker is probably your best shot.
Squadron Count: 12
Passenger Capacity: Ride-along capacity for 4 sentients in fold-up bucket seats.
Cargo Capacity: Capable of carrying as much as a very large binary loadlifter. Can lift and carry the equivalent of its own weight.
Misc. Equipment:
- Modular arm attachments for a variety of labor tasks.
- Can be outfitted with cargo pods for convenient lifting/carrying.
Strengths:
- The W41-D0 is extremely strong.
- The W41-D0 handles very high and very low temperatures well. You can find it anywhere from Hoth to Mustafar.
- The W41-D0 is not entirely stable, due to its bipedal construction. Like all large construction/labor equipment, it should be used by a highly skilled driver.
- The W41-D0 is not a precision instrument. It is very good at moving large rocks and cargo containers, but it's simply not built for finesse. In this respect it's comparable to your average large earth-mover.
Description: The W41-D0 is a generic utility walker, designed for manipulating large objects and not much else. It was modeled after an ancient Cybot Galactica binary loadlifter, which is much smaller (three metres tall as opposed to twelve). Big, heavy, and awkward, it fills a variety of labor roles moderately well, but excels at none.
