Appearance: Tranikor is a human male of average height. Although in his mid-twenties, he appears older due to several years of hard living. He may be identified by the cheek scar on the right side of his face, sustained from a close-range grenade. He favors utilitarian spacer's clothes in dark colors, and travels armed with a heavy blaster pistol at virtually all times. Approach with extreme caution.
Known Equipment: Tranikor carries an STA "Peacebreaker" heavy blaster either inside his jacket or strapped to his thigh in most situations. If anticipating trouble, he may also carry an SDE "Outlaw" shotgun in his jacket. In situations in which such large weapons would be too easily detected, he has been known to carry a variety of holdout blasters and vibroknives, the latter generally for throwing rather than close combat. Tranikor does not generally wear armor, though his jackets and vests are reinforced with ceramic plates.
Tranikor pilots a salvaged Sicarius-class Stealth Yacht. He refers to the vessel as the Downward Spiral, but maintains several other names and transponder codes for it. The ship's interior has been extensively reworked, with the walls between the conference room and two of the staterooms knocked out in order to create a greatly-expanded cargo hold. The most power-intensive stealth components have been removed to make way for larger engines, making the vessel faster but also detectable by a careful sensor operator.
Known History: Tranikor was born to a moderately-wealthy commoner family on Crina. He excelled academically, and as a result was earmarked for the Crinan Navy. He was an exemplary junior officer for several years, achieving several commendations, but after an operation against Crinan rebels that utterly destroyed a small farming village he suddenly chose to defect. The rebels, eager to gain his exceptional piloting skills and insider knowledge on the Crinan military, welcomed him with open arms.
Tranikor soon racked up a substantial criminal record operating with rebel cells out of the town of Miruna, leading to the arrest of his parents and sister when he could not be captured. This did not reduce his commitment to the cause, and he continued to operate against the government. He survived the destruction of Miruna because he was on assignment in the royal city of Stefania at the time of the Remnant fleet's arrival, though he was badly injured when Remnant troops suppressed the riots.
Although the Crinan Rebellion as a unified cause was effectively finished after the destruction of Miruna and the rebel settlement on the neighboring planet of Rodica, Tranikor and a few others refused to surrender, continuing to carry out acts of petty terrorism. Tranikor's piloting skills allowed him to bypass system patrols and keep his cell supplied with food, weapons, and medical supplies, but their numbers were continuously whittled down by Remnant police actions, and it was clear that they had already lost.
When the Remnant attempted to evacuate Crina ahead of the One Sith invasion, Tranikor once more chose to stay behind. He and his cell redirected their terrorist activities against the One Sith administration, and eventually agreed to ally themselves even with Remnant loyalists in order to achieve their goals. After several months, however, Tranikor reached his breaking point when his family was executed and most of his cell was killed in a botched raid on the same day. He fled the Luminita system and is currently at large.
Note: Tranikor's criminal record reflects activities against both the Remnant and One Sith governments. Rumors have circulated in the galactic underworld suggesting that he is now working as a freelance transport pilot and smuggler, rarely staying in any one location for long. He may therefore be difficult to locate. The bounty on Tranikor may be collected whether he is killed or captured alive; however, if a dead Tranikor is not easily identifiable (burned, disintegrated, etc), the hunter will receive a reduced reward.
