  • Canon: N/A
  • Links: Vylmira Vylmrian Council
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Organization Name: Vylmiran Hunters
  • Classification: Family/Clan
  • Affiliation: Vylmira, Vylmiran Council
  • Organization Symbol: N/A
  • Description: The Vylmiran Hunters live in harmony with the natural flora and fauna of Vylmira, hunting wildlife to survive. An old clan with many traditions, the Hunters are rarely seen outside the bounds of Vylmira, except in cases of pilgrimage. Though they are normally a peaceful people, they will not hesitate to come to Vylmira's defense, should it be invaded.
GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
  • Headquarters: Vylmira
  • Domain: Vylmiran Wilds: The Hunters typically keep to the jungles, as it offers more shelter and easier living than the plains do. While they do hunt the wildlife around them, they do not do so for sport. All animals that fall prey to the Hunters are used to their fullest potential, be it for food, materials, or traditional rituals.
  • Notable Assets: N/A
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Hierarchy: The Hunters answer to a singular Huntmaster, who leads the clan until his/her old age makes a new Huntmaster a more suitable choice. The Huntmaster is selected by the previous Huntmaster, and trains under them to learn how best to lead the people. There are no other notable ranks, save for Shamans, who are simply Force Sensitive Hunters. Hierarchy is determined by Age and Experience, moreso than traditional ranks.
  • Membership: The Hunters number somewhere in the low hundreds, including outsiders that have been granted honorary membership. To join, one must be born into the clan, or be "Adopted" by an existing member of the Hunters. For the Huntmaster to recognize an adoption, the adopted must have fulfilled a great act of service on behalf of Vylmira, or on behalf of an outsider that a hunter deems to be worthy of recognition.
  • Climate: The Hunters are a clan. They value their members as family, and are quick to aid each other in times of struggle.
  • Reputation: On Vylmira, the Hunters are regarded as protectors, and widely respected for all they do for their home planet. Beyond Vylmira, they are often regarded as little more than another band of bounty hunters.
  • Curios: Vylmiran Energy Bow, Hunter Armor
  • Rules: The Hunters believe that nature is to be guarded and cultivated, not destroyed. To this end, much of what they make and use is natural and handmade. They also believe that the Force is both a guide and a tool, and that those with the gift should not shy away from using it. The only two hard rules this clan posses are: Do not betray the Clan, and Do not Betray Vylmira.
  • Goals: The Vylmiran Hunters have watched over the Miraluka colony since its arrival, and continue to do so, even if the colony has grown to a civilization capable of waging war with other nations. It shall continue to watch over the civilization of the planet, if only in remembrance of the formative years of both peoples.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Dating back to before Vylmira was a colony, the Vylmiran Hunters have existed on the planet. Living in harmony with the local wildlife, the Hunters began to develop their own traditions and way of life. When the Miraluka Colony came to the world, the Hunters befriended them, trading with them and helping ease their transition to the planet. Though the Hunters never became a recognized part of the Vylmiran military, they are still fierce protectors of Vylmira.

Thought the colony has grown far beyond the Hunter's influence, they still maintain an excellent relationship with the established government, officially recognized as citizens of Vylmira. They have begun sending hunters off on a rite of passage, where young adults venture from the planet to hunt game elsewhere. When they have claimed a suitable trophy, they return to Vylmira, where they typically live out the rest of their days among the clan.
