DESCRIPTION
Dating back to before Vylmira was a colony, the Vylmiran Hunters have existed on the planet. Living in harmony with the local wildlife, the Hunters began to develop their own traditions and way of life. When the Miraluka Colony came to the world, the Hunters befriended them, trading with them and helping ease their transition to the planet. Though the Hunters never became a recognized part of the Vylmiran military, they are still fierce protectors of Vylmira.

Though the hunters began with primitive bows and arrows, the dawn of Vylmiran Technological Industries has seen their kindness repaid with Energy Bows designed specifically for the preferences of the hunters. Equally adept at hunting live game as well as other sentients, the Hunter bow is designed to fire physical arrows that become coated in plasma, much the same as a Wookiee bowcaster. This increases the already considerable damage by adding plasma on top of the kinetic impact. These bows are only granted to those deemed worthy of wearing the Hunter Armor. In most cases, when an individual is granted a suit of armor, they are given a bow along with it. The first quiver is free, and arrows can be purchased for minimal price...

[member="Voph"], I am not sure how a bow can have Very High Recoil when a bow uses all of its energy to specifically move forward the arrow into the desired direction. I can understand the attempt to balance it, however, you have some wiggle room with this. Go ahead and lower the Recoil to Average and you will be fine.

If you've not used a bow before, it can be rather difficult to explain. Recoil doesn't exist the same way it does for guns, but it is still very much a thing, and it is far more draining to shoot a bow with a heavy pull than a bow with a lighter pull. While the string is focused on sending energy through the arrow and propelling it forward, there is still a portion of that transferred to the arm, and the ability to hold the bow still while the arrow is being launched. So while the bow itself doesn't have recoil in the traditional sense, it DOES have recoil in terms of bows.

[member="Voph"], I bow hunt on the regular for Deer. Yes you are correct with that. There is the forward movement of the string which can cause the user to have the blow be flung out of their hands if they are incorrectly holding a how powered bow with a significant draw. However, there is this. The bow doesn't have as powerful recoil compared to other conventional weaponry. That is why I stated that if you so choose, you can reduce the rating.

As always, this is just a suggestion.
