Developed by the Corellian Engineering Corporation in 115 ABY, the VX-2110 was a cheaper alternative for individuals looking for a light freighter who didn't quite have the funds for the YT-Series. It would be rather quickly discontinued, however, only seeing a ten year production cycle due to low sales. It was faster then the average freighter, as it was more of a shell than the more kitted out YT line, sporting a durable shell and a class 1 hyper drive. It was still ultimately outclassed in dog fights and when being overwhelmed by multiple vessels. Since going out of production the VX-2110 has become a rather valuable collector's vessel, and a few models have seen some use by smugglers and pirates alike out in the lawless lanes of the Galaxy.
