"Greetings noble Sith," The businessman stated as he crested the staircase, providing a bow that was as overdramatic, as it was eccentric, the glasses almost slipping off his face, as with overemphasised effort he made sure it did not slide off his features. He offered the... tree? The tree.. woman? A Neti, his mind helpfully supplied, as so close, he could actually see what she truly was.
As apart from the initial greeting, he now flatly ignored the masked individual next to the Neti.
"You would not happen to be one of Darth Caedes' subordinates, would you? As I said to the unhelpful one by the door," He began gently tapping his cane against the floor as almost a drumbeat, accentuating each and every word, turning to point vaguely in the direction where he came, "But, well, we are frankly far over budget, and will likely shoot past the deadline," He parsed his lips, clearly rather annoyed by it all, "Not good, not good at all I know, but unfortunately with all the approvals necessary from the bottom levels up, expansion in the Academy and well..." It was the first time he looked towards Alisteri, playing it off as a clear indication of distrust towards the stranger, as Malum himself wondered. Did he recognise him? He could not be sure, he could only hope that he was smart enough to realise what this was.
"Perhaps we might speak inside, closer to the... site?" He again gestured vaguely toward the entrance where he had come through.
All the while, the Shadow kept watch, all the while the invisible Doppelganger was in position.
If he could lead the Neti away, the Doppelganger would be able to scale down and extricate Alisteri.
It was simply up to his acting skills now.
