VT-Grav Glove: This advanced device allows one to mimic the force through the use of tractors beam technology.
VT-FD Mask: This device allows one 'track' force users within line of sight.
VT-RDTS: A unique system placed into all droids utilizing Rigor's programming, a 'backup' module that allows Rigor to secure his memories and experiences.
Phrik Punch Knife: A knife made of Phrik contained within the right hand of the Hunter Model
Advanced Photoreceptors: Since this droid was designed for the hunting of 'prey', it is equipped with advanced Photoreceptors capable of viewing it's surroundings in ultra-violet, infrared, x-ray, thermal, and of course normal vision.
Strengths:
- Hunter Droid: This class of droid was designed for one simple thing, combating force users. Though Vanir Technologies has created several weapons and tools for fighting against both Jedi and Sith, this droid is designed for simplicity and brutality. The droid was created simply to overpower force users, utilizing no Yuuzhan Vong biots but instead relying upon purpose built technological developments. The outer shell of the droid is made of phrik, its inner-workings molded with fiberplast, and it's body designed to simply brutalize it's opponents. The droid itself can survive most generalized attacks, lightsabers, and even force powers, with only a few truly slowing it down. Simply put, this droid is a battering ram. Created for one single purpose.
- Power Core: As one one expect, a droid like this takes quite a bit of energy to power. The reactor for this droid is say the least...complicated. The device, which sets in the droids chest cavity, is somewhat sensetive. Though it is difficult to get to, the power core is an incredibly and glaring weakness within the droid itself. If punctured or broken the core can easily overheat and explode, obviously ending the droids existence. This effect can also occur if the droid sustains too much kinetic damage. If the chest cavity were to be dented too far and press against the power core the results would be incredibly difficult. The droid can obviously nto escape this fate once the powercore overheats since it's removal would mean shut down.
- Arm-Joints: An odd, almost hidden weakness of the Hunter model are it's arm joints. Though they are designed and based off of those of a humans, the range of motion is not as far nor quite as dextrous. When bent at a certain angle the droids arms can quite literally just pop off. Once an arm is dislocated and removed it provides direct access to the chest cavity and thus power-core. It should be noted however that while this is a glaring weakness, it is difficult to do since one would need to know the exact angle and actually be able to over-power the droid itself.
Rigor, the program that began it's life as little more than a malfunctioning Medical Droid has since grown into something far beyond it's original purpose.
Though not a true artificial intelligence, Rigor is still quite capable of extraordinary things that most would not consider possible of ordinary droid programmings. Due to it's malfunctions as well as it's continuously upgraded systems Rigor has become something quite unique. The droid is still at it's core still very much the same program, following directive and orders from certain individuals, but has become capable of creativity of it's own sort.
It is this creativity that makes Rigor so unique.
Upon assuming it's mantle as head of Vanir Technologies, Rigor was given the rather simplistic directive of making the Corporation Successful.
Due to loose definition of these terms, and the rather simplistic nature of the command, Rigor was able to use this lack of limits for natural growth. Over the course of months the program known as Rigor managed to expand itself, utilizing Vanir Technologies considerable resources to carry out it's orders. Eventually this lead to the construction of the HDM Droids, a line of automatons that allowed Rigor to quite literally be in several places at once.
It was through these droids that Rigor was able to bring true success to Vanir Technologies. The droid was able to oversee and direct multiple projects at once under whatever guise it wished. This allowed the droid to quickly organize, grow, and expand whatever project ti was overseeing, moving faster than any organic would ever be capable of. Rigor managed to push and expand several aspects of Vanir Technologies than was 'logically' possible. It was this growth that allowed Rigor to expand it's own intelligence, it's loose directive giving it more than enough room to learn.
Through the expansion of Vanir Technologies and the utilization of it's many comm-relays Rigor was able to assess and examine the state of the galaxy.
Since the programs primary goal was the expansion and further success of Vanir Technologies, the droid began to assess possible threats to the Corporations growth.
Eventually it came to the conclusion that the largest threat to Vanir itself was not Piracy, internal corruption, logistic problems or anything of the sort. Rather, the largest issue facing Vanir was the encroaching powers of Galactic Governments. The First Order, the Galactic Alliance, even the Silver Jedi Order were all threats to the continued expansion of Governments throughout the galaxy. To counteract this Rigor immediately began the construction of several independent installations such as The Foundry and Artemis Station, ensuring Vanir Technologies continued independence.
It also quickly assessed that though many factions contained more than enough military might to overpower both Vanir and it's military arm Saeva, doing so for most factions would be entirely undesirable. Rather it found that the largest threat posed by most galactic Governments came not from it's military's, but rather a less predictable element; It's force users.
Though Saeva contained an already significant anti-force using element, Rigor determined that these forces would likely not be enough. With it's foremost anti-force user expert Kiran Vess, beginning to age, Rigor determined that another solution was required.
Thus the program quickly began the development and production of The Hunter Model of it's droid line. This droid was to be specifically designed and created for fighting force users. Utilizing heavy phrik metals and a lighter skeletal system for quicker movements, the Hunter Model was designed to be the same bulwark as Kiran Vess had been. Capable of utilizing any piece of equipment a human could use the droid is designed to be a shield against both Sith and Jedi, offering more than a match for any force user who might walk onto the field of battle.
