Strengths:
  • Relief Ship: The Circle Relief Ship, or the CRS, is probably one of the most advanced medical ships in the galaxy. There are dozens of rooms on board, each outfitted with the latest medical technology. There are also therapy rooms, meditation chambers, and comfortable barracks. The vessel was designed as a way for the Circle of Healers to supply aid to distant planets at a moments notice, containing large storage holds for supplies and room enough within it's cargo hold for refugees that need assistance. The ship is also capable of re-configuring it's lower decks to dorms, allowing the vessel to take on more people if necessary.
Weaknesses:
  • Relief Ship: In the end, this is a medical ship. It is not meant to conquer worlds or fight in battles. Though the vessel is heavily armored and equipped with a few defensive weapons, this ship will most certainly not stand up to an actual battle and against any true warship will fare only a few moments before being destroyed.
Description:
Alric Kuhn has long been known for his philanthropic work.

Throughout his life Alric has supported dozens of Charity organizations, has donated hundreds of millions of credits, and has generally attempted to off-set some of his own corporate greed by giving back as much as he could. This could be seen through a multitude of his companies, but especially Vanir Technologies. As a general matter of principal Vanir has given back to nearly every world that it has a position on, and has given a tremendous amount of funds to the Eve Foundation.

This charity work however does not just stop at money.

When Vanir learned through it's Alliance Contacts that the Circle of Healers was in need of several Vessels for their efforts across the galaxy a decision was immediately made. Alric gave the word, and Vanir extended it's hand to the Circle.

A simple offer was made, Vanir would construct ships for the Circle of Healers on an as needed basis, using their Facilities on The Foundry to build them as long as the Circle remained it's good reputation. Of course this latter stipulation would be an easy one to maintain given the Circle's intended purpose, and as such the bargain was quickly struck. The circle was given immediate use of the VT-Licid Class as a fast acting vessel, but it was quickly discovered that the smaller ship simply wasn't enough. As such Vanir began construction on a larger Starship.

Chief Healer [member="Avalore Eden"] was consulted this time around and what quickly came about was the Vanir Technologies Circle Relief Ship. This larger vessel was built with more rooms, more space for cargo, and the ability to reorganize itself on an as needed basis with no input from the manufacturer. The first CRS rolled off the lines at The Foundry within months, and more would be constructed as the Circle required.
