Description: The VT-001 is a Shuriken that houses a small caliber Taser-type device. Capable of taking out a single target, the Shuriken can be used for a variety of situations; taking out a guard, droid or computer. The razor sharp durasteel tri-blades can slice into exposed flesh or cloth, causing bleed damage and possibly more lethal wounds, depending on the location of the hit. At the same time, there are three small protrusions that conduct the electricity into the target. Once the blades makes contact, the electricity is released, and the contact between the Shuriken and target complete the circuit, transferring all of the charge into the target.
To activate the electrical charge, there is a button on the center, and once pressed, all that is needed is to make forceful contact with a target. Once used, the device is not reusable, though the blades still can incur damage. The weapon is powered by a small, one time use power cell installed in each Shuriken.
A simple, yet effective weapon to utilize against multiple targets. Against flesh, it's as effective as a stun round from a blaster. Droids and computers can be shut down entirely.
