The ship was sitting in the landing area of the temple as Orihime stood at the ready. Wearing the silvery white robes of the new guardian robes. Orihime wanted to see some fo the things for herself though until they were going around with more interest here. Staying around so that her own ship was prepared. With the gravity training rooms, protected deck areas and just about anything that you were needing. She could come away from this with some valuable new lesson plans or skills with the force. Having trained herself much like the others in a multitude or techniques to better understand and improve. Orihime was leaving it open for a new padawan or two to join her and receive some fo the traing a well.

New to the Academy and Jedi, Jera was informed she would be the Padawan (whatever that was) to Orihime Ike. She was instructed to join her new teacher at her ship. Jera gathered up some of her belongings and headed to where the meeting was taking place.

She walked down the hallway to the landing area, her hand ran along the wall, feeling both smooth and rough texture under her fingers.

Feeling slightly nervous, Jera stepped out of the door leading to the ship area and looked at her new companion. Even though she is blind, she could still "see", nothing like major details, more aura like.

"Hello."

She called out to Orihime.

"Permission to come forward."

At her former school, everything was very formal and structure. Permission was asked and either granted or denied and no questions asked. Only in a classroom or lesson setting was this allowed. So Jera assumed it would be the same here and acted accordingly.

Orihime stood there at the ready for anything. She was prepared to let the force guide her when she heard something from outside. Going to the ramp as she stood there in her robes looking down at the padawan. "Yes yes come aboard." She said it with a grin on her face motioning her forward. She had been working on many of the places here on Voss but there was always new things to work on with the tech division itself. She was thankful they had been working to organize and bring up all of the information on the hardlight screen before she motioned her in and towards the training rooms. "We have some food and some gear if you need it."

After a few moments, a girl about her own age stepped off the ship and granted her permission to board. Jera bowed her head slightly and walked up the ramp. She knew nothing was going to jump out of the shadows and glomp her, but she was nervous none the less. No, nervous wasn't quite the right emotion...more cautious or apprehensive.

The young woman greeted her with a smile and Jera finally relaxed as she reached the top of the ramp and actually got onto the star ship.

Jera returned the smile and introduced herself.

"I'm Jera Ismet and pleased to meet you."

She reached out her hand to shake that of Orihime's.

Orihime said there was food and gear if Jera needed any and so she wasn't sure what she would need.

"I have a vibrosword only and a few pieces of clothing. What else is needed?
Thank you for offering food, but I ate not too long ago so don't need to eat again yet."

At saying that her stomach actually let out a growl and Jera drew in a quick breath, covered her loud stomach and blushed slightly.

Orihime shook her hand and gave a look on her face while she was looking around. "Well I would recommend some fo the protective training robes that we have made for padawan. There are also some training blades and swords that can be used. In a number of places with some of the other equipment itself for anything else." She had a full stock on her ship with some runabouts and the training droids that had been working on. THey were looking to get a number of things to train with. She was leading the way and the semi large ship was a fifth the size of an exploration craft they had but it was still large enough to fit plenty of rooms for training.

Jera followed Orihime around as she led her through the ship, pointing out the different training areas and articles used.

"What should I call you?"

She stopped to ask, though Jera knew the name of her teacher, she wasn't sure how to address her, here or in public. While in her old school, Jairdain was taught to be respective to all her teachers and address them with honor. Titles and all.

"Should I wear the protective robes all the time or just when in practice?"

There was nothing like these robes when she was learning and many times she had gone home, cut and bruised from practices.

Hmm what should she ben called... the awesome, amazing, beautiful, cool headed, robust jedi knight Orihime who is amazing in her skills and talents with the force... was kind of a mouthful. She would have to try with it and look at a few things they may be able to get here. "Well I would just say call me Orihime. I never really got a title and for your Padawan Training Outfit. You can wear it in normal situations. it is made for some fo the most intense training that you can go through and will offer a lot more protection then what others can do."

Jera quickly found and donned one of the training robes provided. The sleeves were a little long, but she was sure she could adjust them.

"Thank you, Orihime."

She gave a small nod of her head and slight smile at the welcoming feeling from her new teacher and all the Jedi. For once she felt like she belonged and was treated like a freak of some sort.

"Where may I put my items?"

Her old clothes were neatly folded in her arms and her vibrosword on top of them.

She motioned to one fo the lockers that could hold the gear while going into the main area. There was a lot to work with in the training rooms and on this ships thanks to the connection to the database. Before they all went about it. The jedi knight had a few ideas about what they might be able to do until she was moving around the area in the room. letting the hardlight projectors set them all up, letting herself shed several of the pieces of equipment she had on with her belt. "We have lockers and we can get started when you are ready."

Jera quickly placed her items in the locker Orihime pointed to and stood up facing the young woman.

"How long have you been here? I mean with the Jedi?"

The look of true curiosity was on her face and light in her eyes. Jera wanted to know everything. However, right after asking this, her stomach let another even louder growl than the previous one.

"Where did you say the food is? I guess I'm more hungry than I expected."

She blushes slightly, but continues to look at Orihime.

Looking at her as she though about it offering her a better place. "There is a meal area and extra food in the cargo bays. The ship has been designed for plenty to be around and the higher grade foodstuffs the jedi have been getting from the ranger's means we can enjoy it a little more instead of being tasteless or taste like chalk." Walking though she was ready. "And I have been with the jedi since I was born, my parents were jedi masters who roamed around so me and my sisters have always been being trained."

Jairdain followed Orihime as she continued the tour of the ship and listened to the young woman tell her about her childhood. When the galley was pointed out, Jairdain took off at almost a run to grab something quick. Just a snack until the next meal was served. Within a a few minutes, she returned to Orihime to either continue the tour or start training.

When she returned, Jairdain spoke of her own growing up and the fate of her family and planet as well as her own theory on what happened.

"I have no siblings."

"That can be a good thing... now one to randomly steal your underwear or cloths when they et theirs dirty.... leaving you wihtout any." She said it while getting to some of the lockers with a small look on her face when she could let her see it now. She laughed a little to herself though in the room as she had everything. "There is a room you can change itno the robes for yourself and I have some training blade." her saber on her hip was there as she could set it low enough to use and have it ready for a fight.

Not knowing it wasn't proper, Jairdain had already changed her robes a few minutes ago in front of everybody. She pointed this out to Orihime.

"You mean I shouldn't have just changed a bit ago? Remember I had you show me a locker to my stuff into? I'm sorry if I did something bad."

Jairdain looked at the ground for moment, expecting to get knocked around her ear for making a mistake.

"Ehh it is alright, mostly just droids on my ship." She said it with a grin on her face when she was looking at more of it here. Where they would need to see it now, working to see over at all her. She remained there in her robes with the saber and all of the gear off to the side as she pulled her hair back into a tight ponytail with a nod of her head in being ready. "Alright then, we shall begin and see what we can do." She saw some parts of it getting her saber as she could feel it in her hands with a small rush of excitement.

Not entirely sure where to begin, Jairdain walked over to the training items and picked up one of the training sabers. Having seen students, padawans, knights and masters wearing lightsabers, she really wanted to learn how to properly use one. Turning the handle around in her hands, getting a feel for the balance, Jairdain then faced her master.

"I'm not sure if I can request to learn something special, but I would like to learn how to use a lightsaber."

She didn't feel ashamed or embarresed for changing earlier, in her culture there was almost no privacy at school and was used to it.

Orihime looked at her for a moment, letting it sink in that she might well not have exactly gotten a padawan who was a savant like so many that knew everything already. she had seen some fo those... she had been one fo those but she had the excuse of being well the daughter of jedi masters and raised with her sisters in the temples all of her life. She was able to work on it and spoke offering a small smile on her face when she looked at her padawan. "That is not a problem." Getting excited while she moved now to get in some what close but not invade ther personal space. "Oh this is going to be fun, most padawans I have met act as if they are already masters of the blade so. First you want to hold the blade correctly, grasping it in your hands so you can be ready and then you will be looking to find a comfortable grip for yourself. Then adjust your footing. Stnd at the ready like this." Orihime was looking at her and preparing hjerself as she stood there ready and gripping the saber with two hands.

Jairdain watched as her master spoke and guided her on how to hold a saber and stand. The position felt odd to Jairdain though and she reversed her hands, holding it in a left handed manner and changed the place of her feet. It was as though she mirrored [member="Orihime Ike"] instead of being just like her.

"I have very little training with my vibroblade. Simple basics of striking and blocking. There were some in my class that were just a grace to watch. Leaping, almost flying, flipping to land on both feet and not miss anything."

Oh to be as good as they were, a slightly dreamy look crosses Jairdain's face as she remembers her past.

Orihime looked at the padawan and raised an eyebrow as she thought about it and she could teach he rot be that good.... kind of. She dind't use the saber like that with all of the flips and tricks but she knew a few things that could be special to do. "We can do it, basic training and improve upon it. Though I use Djem So, it is a defense counter style. Less flips and movement and more solid defense with making room for counter attacks." She though waited until the padawan had hrself ready and started to move her hands slowly so she could follow with her feet shifting to get a small circle and move around. "The robes you have willl easily be able to protect you should you mess up so take your time and don't worry about making small mistakes."

Jairdain listened to [member="Orihime Ike"] and nodded. She smiled slightly and watched as her master started a circle movement with her hands and feet. The robes may protect them getting hurt, but the skirts blocked her view of Orihime's foot placement as she turned. She did her best to follow and ended up getting her feet tangled up in the turn and almost falling.

"Ok let me try this again, but with what feels comfortable."

She tried it again, rotating her feet and knees to move with her, in the end she more of a figure eight than a graceful circle before facing her master again. Her movements with the training saber were most accurate and mirrored the movements of the young woman in front of her.
