It was finally time, something more interesting as it seemed and MIstral had to admit to a few things. One this was insane, they were headed to a place that was dangerous and full of something that could destroy all life. Two he had spent some money to get a surprise for Aoyoshi when the time came possibly afterwards but he would have to work up the nerve for that... and then tell the Lord Protector he and Aoyoshi would need a couple of weeks.

"Alright we are going to be over Mugg Fallow and we are here for one specific thing. Make sure to keep your suits on and the flame throwers ready. We are getting in, and clearing enough of the ship to get the prize. A navicomputer from a gree ship. Then we are getting out of there and putting that hellhold behind us." He felt the weight in his pocket while securing his equipment for a moment and the flamethrowers. He looked over to Aoyoshi and smiled. "You ready to see one of the many wonders in the galaxy."

"What the hell are we doing out here again Mistral?" She asked still not believing what they were about to do. Her suit was on and the flame thrower was ready. This was going to get nasty. Real nasty if her gut told her anything. This was going to be no fun she thought as she waited for Mistral to go first.

"We are here to get a navigation computer from one of those sailors. The design and specifications will help the protectorate greatly." He had a smirk on his face while he had the suit on and held one of the flame units. Moving with the others they went towards the sailor in the distance and it was so quiet until the ship docked and Mistral looked at the droids speaking. "Send in the flame units and incinerate all signs of the infection. We don't want to give it a chance to spread while she search." The men and droids gave a nod as they went forward and he looked at Aoyoshi. "Come on once we get the console we can head back and I have a surprise for you."

"Let's do this" She said charging into the ship flamethrower out. She was the first one out and she lit it up burning whatever was near the entrance. " Let's get them boys! " She said ready and attempting to get this done. She didn't get what this would do but Mistral insisted that they do this so here she was. Plus she was going to get a surprise, she couldn't wait. AFter all it must be something special. She couldn't wait till she got whatever it was. Aoyoshi was so excited.

That was the spirit and Mistral moved forward with a flame unit and fired in the silver slime. It almost shrieked while he remained stationary with two others and coated the ground making sure they got everything before moving up slowly. This ship served one purpose and that was to get to the nav computer and then get out. As quickly as they moved forward he was working on the main conditions. "Alright now have it going and keep tight." He moved more and thought about the moment at hand while also keeping the precious treasure under his vest.

Pushing forward with an energy that was mainly attributed to finally not hurting all over. She coated everything with flames fighting back the slime. "Ever think how crazy we are for doing this?" She said on her comm as she purged the floor with fire, the metal glowing red in spots where it was of a low melting point. She kept moving though, they couldn't let up. The damn slime seemed to be everywhere, as she stoped it from sneaking up on an cohort. "Damn Slime" She said as she pushed forward. The surprise better be worth it she thought.

"Always crazy for doing this but there are somethings that are worth the risk." He moved and cleared a room as one of the protectorate droids spun around letting jellied fuel coat the room before the flame ignited it andd he moved back a little. "Besides you can't say I only take you to five star restaurants now. We are getting to see the galaxy and meet one of the most dangerous things in the galaxy." He kept a smile while moving up and reloading. "We are nearing the bridge, a few more meters and we should be there."

"You're just lucky I love you. " She said as she coated the newly laid jelly on fire as they pushed for the bridge, finally making it. " Someone get the damn computer while we cover you" She said shooting at some advancing slime. This was an interesting task no doubt. That was when she turned her back to an area she thought was clear. She shot at something else not noticing the advancing slime towards her flank. After all she had just cleared that side hadn't she. It was a plague it seemed, you burned it for it just to come back with a vengenance. She pondered what was so special about this damn computer. After all it was just a computer.

Mistral moved to stand at Aoyoshi's back as he started torching and the droids began working on the computer. The large and mostly unmovable gree navicomputers were known for two things. Being huge to accommodate the aliens and they were still working. The star maps calculating still and finding routes ten times faster for ships to travel, it was what made them so prized. The chance to make a faster trip and possibly a hyperdrive ten times faster then even the old smuggler vessels. "Oh I know I am, now come on you guys get the repulsor sled in here and when the droids lift get it back to the ship and clean it with as much fire as possible. These things are made to last."

Aoyoshi giggled as she saw the repulser lift arrive. She couldn't wait to leave. " Come on now put your backs into it, we don't want to have to leave empty handed. " It was ugly as always fighting, she could see the slime burning away, as she put another blast of flames. The metal red in some places, as the fire was so hot to even redden the metal gave an added eerily light to the whole place. Aoyoshi still couldn't wait for her surprise after all what could it be. Perhaps he had gotten them a new place, after all his was not made for two. She giggled as she thought about his poor closets and how they were mostly hers now. She went back to the task at hand burning slime, after all was an important job.

Mistral watched while the droids managed to disconnect and load the computer. Then they were coating it in the jelly that would burn hot and fast to purge anything that might be on it while keeping it intact. He marveled that it was kind of like pitch before he moved and went about the rooms mostly clearing the path with the soldiers and droids. "Alright lets get it back and cleaned then we will see where we stand."

"Yes sir!" She said with a giggle that spoke of how familiar she was with her 'commander'. She began clearing the way behind the men, keeping the slime at bay, after all they didn't want to be over ran. This was where it got tough after all, having to move back and keep things off of us from our old direction. Damn slime she thought as she purged another swathe of the ship of slime. This was nasty work, and the eririe red light from the hot metal didn't help anything. Aoyoshi couldn't wait to get back on the ship, then she could curl up next to Mistral she thought. That would be nice, she could retire next to him for the night and let him do his work while she used him as a pillow, it sounded perfect. She had actually forgotten about the surprize as the slime and thoughts of sleeping had distracted her as she blasted more slime. It didn't give up that was for sure.

Now they were moving and Mistral remained very careful keep things clean until they were back and the droids went to work. Quarentining the computer and sealing it away as they worked to purge it and the airlock sealed on that. Then the ship shifted and attached another airlock for the crew while the soldiers started prepping the way and Mistral closed the door letting it seal with him and Aoyoshi on the inside. "Stand down and check everything, we're going to be in the decontamination chamber for a few hours."

"Oh joy" she said as she felt the airlock begin its decontamination. This was always fun she thought as sheh began to strip out of her suit, tossing it in the corner. "mmm that is better" she said as she smiled, a thin tank top and shorts was all she wore underneath, the armored space suit. " I am so glad to be out of that." This was the boring part, making sure there was nothing else in here with her as she felt the computer do it's thing. She felt changes in the air as various scans were ran and chemicals were pumped in. This was going to take forever she thought.

Mistral looked at Aoyoshi and gave a nod while he stripped down and took off everything save his boxers. Even then he still made sure to grab the box from the suit before it was put in its own quarantine section to be sterilized. He moved and shrugged with a grin on his face while reports that decontamination was going well all over and the ship was secured, clean and heading back. "Make sure we send that ooze back to the cess pit it came from. Destroy that ship." He went over to look at Aoyoshi and had one thing on his mind. "This might be the best time we did just survive a life or death struggle against a being who can and has destroyed entire planets of life." The nobleman moved going to a knee and speaking. "Lady Aoyoshi you are the most important woman in my life and it would do for me a great honor if you would accept my proposal." The box opened and he let a grin come to his face.

Aoyoshi's eyes teared up and her mouth let out a gasp as she couldn't believe what she saw and heard. She didn't even have to think. " Yes! Yes" She said almost tackling him with a hug. She was speechless and ever so happy. She couldn't believe it. He asked her to marry him. She held him tight not wanting the moment to end, not letting him go as she felt them lurch towards the floor. She giggled and still held him in the now awkward position as they were sprawled on the floor.

Well that was slightly unexpected, The falling over part not the excited Aoyoshi he mused in his head as laying on the floor he felt the coolness of the metal while he held her and the box easily enough. There was plenty going on and now there was a reason to celebrate. It might not be on par with the wedding of Siobhan and Tegaea Alcori but he was more then willing to let her have one she would never forget. The only real trick would be finding someone to officiate it. "Now that is an answer that makes me all sorts of happy."

Aoyoshi was busy locking her lips on his, holding him tight. She couldn't believe it. She had tears running down her eyes as she was so happy. It wasn't what she was expecting in the least. She didn't think he would ask her, it blew her away that with all her problems she seemed to bring him, he would marry her. She closed her eyes letting her lips melt with his as she held onto him tightly. Aoyoshi was ecstatic and couldn't do much but hold onto Mistral. He was the love of her life after all. This was all far too unreal for her. She never in a million years thought he would ask her to marry him.

Mistral continued to kiss Aoyoshi while he moved about and the time in the decontamination chamber ticked away until they were finished. He led the way to the bridge and looked at the starlines of hyperspace while smiling. He made sure word was sent to the Lord Protector they had gotten the compute and they had it sanitized so it would be clean to use and he brought it up on the screen. "It is a thing of beauty, hard to believe that slime got hold of it for so many years."

Aoyoshi took her spot in the bridge and eyed the beautiful ring on her finger. She couldn't believe it. The smile on her face said it all as she just eyed the ring on her hand. It was too good to be true. Not else was on her mind at the moment, she didn't even notice him play with the machine. Aoyoshi's head was somewhere else all together. The fact was that she never dreamed he would take all her troubles upon him. He was far more than she deserved. She looked at him and smiled, enjoying watching him in his element.
