PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Vorr'keth is a quiet, patient, and calculating individual who approaches most situations with the mindset of a hunter. He rarely wastes words or movements, preferring to observe, analyze, and act only when necessary. Despite his intimidating nature as a Sith assassin, he possesses a deep curiosity, especially toward technology. When discussing machinery, weapons, armor, or droids, Vorr'keth becomes noticeably more expressive, often enthusiastically explaining his discoveries and modifications to anyone willing to listen. He is highly adaptable and views every challenge as something to understand, overcome, and improve upon.
Vorr'keth's beliefs are deeply rooted in the traditions of the Qheece and his understanding of the Force. He believes the Sith and the worship of the Swamp Gods describe the same truth from different perspectives, viewing the Dark Side as the domain of the ancient beings his people have revered for generations. To him, embracing the Dark Side is not corruption, but a descent into the depths of the Force where instinct, survival, and power exist together. He does not fear death, believing that all beings eventually return to the Great Swamp and become part of something greater. However, he remains vulnerable to his species' instinctive attraction toward light, requiring specialized goggles to prevent distraction or fixation in situations where bright sources could compromise his focus.
STRENGTHS
Adaptive Intelligence: Vorr'keth has an exceptional ability to understand, modify, and improve technology, allowing him to quickly master unfamiliar weapons, armor, droids, and machinery.
Predatory Instincts: A natural hunter, Vorr'keth excels at tracking, observation, and exploiting weaknesses, combining his Qheece senses with his Force awareness.
Combat Adaptability: Vorr'keth uses whatever method best fits the situation, combining lightsaber combat, Force abilities, physical strength, and technology without relying on a single approach.
Technological Craftsmanship: Vorr'keth is skilled at creating and modifying his own equipment, constantly improving his armor, weapons, droids, and tools.
WEAKNESSES
Phototropic Instinct: Vorr'keth has an instinctive attraction toward bright sources of light due to his Qheece biology, which can distract him or compromise his focus if he lacks his specialized goggles.
Over-Curiosity: His intense desire to understand technology and unfamiliar concepts can sometimes cause him to become distracted or spend too much time analyzing something.
Wing Vulnerability: As a male Qheece, Vorr'keth's wings are more fragile than those of females, and severe damage can limit his mobility or prevent flight.
HISTORY
Vorr'keth was born among the Qheece hives of Nal Hutta, raised within a society where survival, instinct, and reverence for the Swamp Gods shaped everyday life. From a young age, he displayed the natural instincts of a hunter, learning to track, stalk, and protect his hive through patience and careful observation. Like all Qheece, Vorr'keth possessed an innate connection to the Force, though he initially understood it only as another sense guiding him through the darkness. His earliest uses of the Force were instinctive, allowing him to sense the presence of prey before they came into view and making him an exceptionally capable hunter.
At the age of eleven, Vorr'keth's connection to the Force drew the attention of a Sith Lord seeking an apprentice. Rather than dismissing his beliefs in the Swamp Gods, his master recognized that Vorr'keth's spirituality and natural instincts could become a unique path toward understanding the Dark Side. Through thirteen years of training, Vorr'keth learned the ways of the Sith, the lightsaber, and the Force, interpreting these teachings through the lens of his own culture. He came to believe that the Sith had discovered the same truths his people had worshipped for generations—the hidden depths of the Force and the domain of the Swamp Gods.
Now an independent Sith Knight, Vorr'keth travels the galaxy as a hunter, assassin, and inventor. He pursues knowledge, improves his technology, and follows what he believes to be the will of the Great Swamp. While others view him as a dangerous servant of the Dark Side, Vorr'keth sees himself as something else entirely: a creature that has simply learned how deep the waters of the Force truly go.
