STRENGTHS
Length: Three different length settings, which are standard blade length, Odachi-Length, and Shoto length
Mount Options: At shoto length, can be mounted on a telescopic Cortosis weave spear shaft with a Force Pike mounted at the opposite end, or a cane shaft of the same material, and can also be mounted on or within Laertia's cybernetic arm.
Silenced: The blade is rigged to emit no sound.
Cutting power: Can cut through traditional, non alchemized lightsaber resistant materials with disturbing ease.
Ash blade: Darksaber Blade with an ash aura. Oooo, pretty!
Snicker-Snack: Blessed by the Light to help Laertia sense decapitation opportunities better
WEAKNESSES
Deflection: Its flat blade makes it nowhere near as useful for deflection as other saber, as the blade must be positioned a certain way to deflect
Breakage chance: Due to its particular power settings, ot is more prone to breaking against Synths blades. If it does, then it stays shut off for two minutes
Manuverability: Its flat blade means it must be attacked with like an ordinary sword, limiting some of the full mobility that is found in normal lightsabers, forcing Laertia to plan ahead and use Iaijitsu to compensate
Silence timer: Can only have the silenced setting actibe for three minutes before it needs to cut off to recharge
Force Voids: The Blessing on the blade will not function in Force Voids. However, everything else will still function
DESCRIPTION
The Vorpal Saber was a gift to Laertia Io from her Mentor, Ursula Sandraven. Made to hone Laertia's dueling ability and make her a consummate gladiator, Laertia used the weapon as a springboard to learning the Katana. A sincere proponent of Darksabers, Laertia is too much of a pragmatist to discard such a lethal tool, even in light of recent revelations.
