PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Voreth is an adult Caucasian Miraluka, typically clad in robes or armored robes. Unlike many of his species, he has vestigial eye sockets instead of the flat surface of skin that many of his peers have in place of eyes. While some may see this as a genetic oddity, others may see this as a marker of a certain lineage. Owing to modern medicine, Voreth does not have many artificial blemishes such as scars or old wounds. His hair is dark brown, hanging about shoulder length in the rare instances he does not restrain it. His hair normally is bound into a bun or pony tail to keep it out of his way during combat. Voreth's final defining feature is a series of small runes etched on to his face. Their exact origin and purpose is unknown, as the civilization that wrote them has long since expired...

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS

Voreth has never known a true home, though whether this is the source or a byproduct of his wanderlust is not certain. Voreth has an insatiable thirst for knowledge, particularly in the realms of the Force. Having grown up outside of the Jedi and Sith Dichotomy, he holds no strong opinions of the eras-old light versus dark conflict, save for that it is stupid. While he does not see either ideology as inherently problematic, he finds the constant conflict for the sake of conflict to be...tiresome. Voreth is also a quiet and thoughtful individual, perfectly content to wait in the fringes of a conversation listening to the others.

STRENGTHS

Arcane: Voreth possesses an unusual knowledge of the Force for someone of his age and training. While he may not be able to use many of the techniques he is aware of, his knowledge of them makes it much easier to adapt in tense situations.
Miraluka: His innate ability to perceive the world through the Force grants him an immense advantage, and makes conventional stealth technology useless against him.

WEAKNESSES

Void: Anything that removes Voreth's ability to exert control over the force hampers his ability to perceive the world around him, forcing him to rely only on what he can hear, and what the Force itself choses to show him.
The Force: Voreth is hardly a master of the Force. While he understands a great many concepts in the Force, he struggles to utilize anything beyond his inherent Force Sight. Almost as if something is suppressing his ability...
Fabrication: Voreth has sustained enough trauma that his mind has fortified itself within a lie to defend itself. His perception of reality may not be the correct one...

HISTORY

It all began aboard a small refugee ship somewhere in the Corellia sector. Voreth's parents never told him what exactly they were running from, just that once they made it to Coruscant, they disembarked with their newborn son and buried themselves deep within the rotten underbelly. Over the coming years, Voreth was trained in the arts of the Force. His father taught him the ways of the blade, while his mother taught him all she knew of the arcane and sorcerous arts. Or so she tried.

Voreth's parents tried to be supportive of him, but he began to pick up signs of confusion. Doubt. Even fear. He suspected it had something to do with his difficulty learning the ways of the Force. He was not sure why he could understand his mother's arts so perfectly, yet be so incapable of performing even the most basic rituals. His parents saw him as flawed. Damaged. One night, he arrived home to discover his parents fighting. Their tones were hushed, but Voreth knew something was amiss.

The next morning, he awoke alone. No note, no message, no parents. At the young age of fourteen, he'd been abandoned to fend for himself. For all he knew, over his sheer inability to adopt his parent's way of life. So Voreth did the one thing he could think to win his parents favor, and entice them to return. He would figure out what was wrong with him and fix it.

Many years later, Voreth had secured steady work as a gun for hire in the outer rim. This allowed him the freedom to pursue knowledge in every form he could discover, hoping to seek a cure for what he had come to assume was a curse placed upon him. Though he'd grown no closer to discovering a cure than he'd been all those years ago. That was when he heard it. The Voice. Like the dark call of a siren, it spoke to him of power. Knowledge. The ability to right all the wrongs of his past. To rebuild his family.

Voreth's first steps would shape his life to come in ways he could not possibly imagine...
