OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION

  • Intent: To create a unique Power Source for Voph's lightsabers
  • Canon Link: Power Cells
  • Primary Source: N/A
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Isotope V Core
  • Lightsaber Couplings
  • Custom Design
Strengths:
  • Ion/EMP resistant: The Duraplast housing prevents the cores from being destabilized by EMP sources.
  • Duraplast Shielding: The Duraplast also dampens the resulting damage should the cores rupture.
  • Lightsaber Couplings: These cores are designed to fit within the hilt of a lightsaber.
  • Custom Design: The Cell follows an intricate design, a work of art as much as it is a component. As such, it cannot be used for anything other than its designed purpose without intense reverse engineering.
  • Intense Power: As this is intended for a lightsaber, the Isotope V will greatly increase the blade intensity, allowing it to more easily cut through more materials.
Weaknesses:
  • Isotope V: Given the power cell is made of Isotope V, if it ruptures, the results can be explosive.
  • Unique Design: Given the unique design, if the cores fail for any reason, entirely new cores will have to be made.
DESCRIPTION
Upon his return from the Netherworlds, Voph knew peace for a time. Eshan was the first reminder that war was still a very visceral part of life. And though he yearned for peace, deep down, he knew his destiny awaited him. He was doomed to die on the fields of battle. Would it be today? Or would it be tomorrow? He could not say. But as he sat within the chambers in Golbah City, he knew that War had come once again to his door. He had already begun work on a new pair of blades after the Inquisition of Kuat. But there was something lacking. Voph was never one for fancy tricks, simply preferring a standard, straight forward blade. But, if this blade was to be his last, it should be worth remembering...
