SPECIAL FEATURES

STRENGTHS

  • A malleable delivery system for synthflesh or soft liquid metal or other substances that are easily liquified and hardened.
  • Denantium sheathes of piping can grow from the core to wounds/openings of the droid chassis.
  • The core can provide a reservoir of up to 4 liters of moldable liquid denantium and 2 liters of liquid synthflesh.
  • External hookups are provided for extended storage.
  • Can disperse gas as well throughout denantium sheathes.
  • The speed of delivery depends on regulated temperature and pressure, compared to atmospheric pressure and temperature.
WEAKNESSES
  • The MSL-48 is not driven by nanomachines, so it's denantium sheathing can be wasteful.
  • Heat driven dispersion of the denantium sheathing is slow.
  • Denantium sheathing can be rendered completely inert in high temperature environments, as it is heat driven.
  • Denantium can often be softer than the metal it is attempting to patch.
  • The delivery system is not recommended for volatile substances, as denantium sheathing can be easily ruptured.
  • The weight of the delivery system depends heavily on the external storage system.
  • Magnets can easily rupture the denantium.

DESCRIPTION
hkQXRcU.png

The MSL-48 Host Liquid Delivery System operates mainly as a denantium delivery service, using heated and hardened "veins" of denantium sheathes that will spread to wounds and breaks in a droid's chassis.

Though the denantium sheathes can spread other materials, such as water, mercury, oil or gas, this is not the intended nor practical use of the Host Liquid Delivery System. Especially in regards to gases, denantium sheathing is not rated for pressurized containment. Operator beware.

HEAT DISPERSION

The MSL-48 is a malleable delivery system for substances such as synthflesh, denantium, mercury, oil, or other liquids/gases/metals that are not volatile and useful for dispersion. However, it is highly recommended that only one MSL-48 is installed per droid chassis - the unit can easily conflict with one another, as it is not designed to be used with nanomachines so the direction of denantium sheathes depends on both heat dispersion and from the core unit across the sheathe and the target location of damage in the droid chassis. This is meant primarily for cracks in steel made made by blasters and kinetic projectiles that leave massive heat trails behind, as the sheathes will spread quickly to the damage. However, it should be understood by the operator and maintainers that this is only a temporary fix - denantium is not meant to replace materials like durasteel, chromium, etc. When it does, it can bleed metal denantium alloy across the droid chassis.

DENANTIUM

Denantium is a substance similar to mercury, and is meant to only temporarily patch other metalwork. Upon directly hit, denantium will easily break like ossified bone or porcelain, potentially even splashing silver-colored metal across the droid chassis. It can visually appear as a droid bleeding gray metal.
