OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION

PRODUCTION INFORMATION
  • Manufacturer: Void Inc.
  • Affiliation: Void Inc.
  • Model: EMW-007
  • Modularity: No.
  • Production: Limited.
  • Material: Durasteel, gold, silica, circuitry.

SPECIAL FEATURES
  • This device is able to "mind wipe" inorganic species, reducing them to base infancy intelligence, and then restoring memories gathered from entechment data.
STRENGTHS
  • Can mind wipe a majority of inorganic species, reducing them to base infancy intelligence.
  • Can restore data gathered from entechment data.
WEAKNESSES
  • Has a 98% successful rating - entechment is a technology only mastered by the Ssi-Ruuk, and not fully grasped by the engineers at VOID Inc. yet. Therefore, it is theorized that there will be a 2% of "corrupted" or lost data. Full personalities and memories are not guaranteed.
  • Takes several hours, or even days, to complete the full process. Candidates that are not 100% compliant can not be subjected to the process.

DESCRIPTION

Moff Kapshan is fascinated with inorganic species.

All science based on carbon life forms tells the world of biochemistry and physics that these species shouldn't be viable - that perhaps they play by entirely different rules. Upon recieving funding from the New Imperial Order's military economy and the Intergalactic Banking Clan, the mad scientist Moff began his march towards several different Projects within the confines of the company Void Inc. Dictating this PROJECT GOLEM, the Moff saw the possibility for inorganic species to be biologically reprogrammed for military use. Shards, Polydroxol, B'rknaa, Hurikane, Mudmen, Vaathkree, Tsil - all of these species seemed to be vulnerable to this technology, and perfect candidates for the experimental entechment technology that had been devised.

Though other companies had been targeting droids with entechment, the Moff saw viability for these inorganics to be testbeds for further experimentation. Project GOLEM was kept very secret, though, as many could raise moral issues with the experimentation on sentience and cognitive functions of inorganic species.

Further experiments will be required to further determine the effectiveness of this solution.
