SPECIAL FEATURES

- Communication. Perhaps it's strongest feat, this unit is capable of communicating over vast distances and integrating with all VOID Inc. communication arrays. Encrypted coding, to protect the privacy of VOID and New Imperial Order transmissions, is provided of the highest degrees. Two factor authentication is provided as endpoint sources to VOID Inc. arrays.
- Not versatile. This probe droid, while capable of self-defense, is not a competent fighter.
- Lightweight. This unit is incapable of devastating impact on a weight scale.
- Unable to go into hyperspace. This unit is incapable of going into hyperspace on it's own, though it can survive deep space just fine.
DESCRIPTION
The ASE-X model was designed by Moff Kapshan himself as the first part of a series of information gathering for the Imperial Security Bureau in the Galaxy. The Moff was very interested in massive amounts of data scraping, and the probe droids serve as the first slice of his pie in order to do so. The ASE-X model itself is based on old Imperial VIPER droids, though with several strengths from that modeled line to be included. The ASE-X is sturdier and provided with tentacled arms, rather than standard manipulator arms, providing it greater control of the environment in which it moves while removing unnecessary weight. Furthermore, the ASE-X is capable of encryptions stronger by a magnitude of one thousand than the VIPER droid was - this is due to the Moff's unerring need for security and privacy from the competition.
The ASE-X model is designed for planetary exploration and combative reconnaissance, meaning the droid is meant to study people and civilizations more than anything else. The information is directly fed to VOID Inc., with the dissemination of that information then spreading to the New Imperial Order by way of synchronized logistics and contracted lines of distant point to point end communication. Several arrays and infrastructure will be further set up to guide this informative pipeline, though the Moff has not yet laid out his plans to do so. The New Imperial Order, with it's grip tightening on exploratory droid sectors, has further increased it's spending and ordered a vast quantity of these droids to patrol and explore it's sectors - with the Moff directing their paths.
The ASE-X is an explorer, and the New Imperial Order is their director.
