"I understand, Colette. No rest for the weary," Balun replied, offering a small smile as he rose to stand, a gesture of good manners as the Councilwoman had voiced the need to take her leave. The Jedi Knight dipped his head in a casual bow of respect, adding further: "The Force be with you, Master" he called her by her title this time, wishing her the best in whatever endeavours awaited her return to duty.

Balun would wait until Colette had taken her leave before moving to collect his tray and quickly finish his stim-caf, placing it on top of his plate, then returning it to the cafeteria bench for those on kitchen duty to take out back. He offered his thanks for the midday meal and then turned to make for his own exit, feeling the need for a cigarra now with a full stomach.

Checking his chrono as he stepped out into the corridor, he noted a half hour before the need to prepare for his next scheduled lesson, teaching younglings this time around. A much easier task than teenagers, admittedly. Time had passed fairly quickly, and he had enjoyed having the chance to get to know one of the Council on a more personal basis. All Jedi had their worth, none more significant than the other in the Force, yet it wasn't often at all that Balun had the opportunity to spend some one-on-one time with their leadership.

He started for the Temple promenade, eager to take a quick smoke before getting back to work.
