Description: Four Asteroid Space Stations were created, originally created for the First Order Starfighter Corps, when High Command had realized the benefits of having multiple concealed, unsuspecting deployment zones for starfighters and weapon emplacements, they leapt at the idea, though due to the cost there was only a handful constructed based off of the ideas for [member="Roderik von Brinkerhoff"]’s first base.

The idea for the Asteroid Firepoints came from the concept that the Chiss Ascendancy already had in place. Hidden bases within nebulas that would slow, and otherwise deter foreign forces. Naturally, their positions would be situated around the capital planet of the First Order, thus acting as multiple steps of protection should opposing forces wish to strike at the Imperial planet.

After deviating from the original designs, retractable turbolaser emplacements had been implemented into the asteroids, rather than being built onto it. Otherwise, visual sensors would make it clear as to what the asteroid truly was. With thousands of weapon emplacements when the weapon systems are activated, it’s impossible to not read the massive spike in power on sensors. In addition, few outside of the First Order’s Military High Command know for certain that the asteroids are not merely orbiting asteroids.

Capable of storing up to five squadrons from the First Order's Starfighter Corps, TIE-class, the multiple hangars of the asteroid's are capable of storing an extra squadron, this one reserved for dropships and troop transports, most of the time it remains at half capacity for visiting figures from High Command. Typically manned with several thousand crewmen, the asteroid functioned efficiently due to the amount of droids that were about. Whether they ranged from maintenance, to actually sitting at consoles and aiding in its workings, they were present, allowing the First Order to cut down on manpower for the limited purpose of the asteroids. In addition, this also meant that the station was quite easily capable of being boarded, should it be breached due to the lack of combat personnel.
