Description: FOCIE working with Panacea wanted to create a mobile device that would keep track of the military members as they were away on missions. The idea snowballed, with Panacea picking up the heavier work of programming, while the FOCIE worked to create something that would house the software. While doing this the FOCIE decided to create a different aesthetic for the badge, reversing the symbol of the First Order to promote unity. The VCSM has a small chip inside that utilises the Huginn Biocomm Network and works to keep the network up to date allowing the First Order military and members of the government to be monitored. This being the first run of the VCSM, the FOCIE will continue to work with Panacea to see how to improve the device.

As it stands, the device is about 1.65" wide x 2.08" tall x 0.36" deep / .41m wide by .52m tall by .009m deep. A small, handheld device that is attached to uniforms or clothing using a magnetic strip, that is embedded into the uniform. The device can also be attached with pins or clipped onto clothing. The VCSM has a built in recording device allowing the user to be recorded via audio transcripts in case of an emergency this is known as the black chip. It also features a built-in microphone to enable communication, as well as a high-quality audio speakers allowing the user to hear anyone else who is using one of these devices.

The range of communication is approximately sixty feet within one another assuming that the user is not within a structure that is already utilising the Huginn Biocomm Network. While within the Huginn Biocomm Network the range is seemingly unlimited so long as the network is there. The device comes in two forms, the gold and silver for high-ranking government officials and the red and black for members of the military. Unfortunately, the device is powered by small power cells and has a battery life of three days, however; this is in standby mode. When not in standby mode, the device lasts twenty-four hours.
