DESCRIPTION
Here at Vitae Industries, we aim to make life better for all of our customers by making the highest quality cybernetics and medicines for the lowest prices! Here in the Southern Systems, there are many who suffer from lost limbs, untreatable illnesses, and painful defects, but Vitae Industries offers affordable cures that work for you!
Vitae Industries, originally called Soulife Industries was founded to take advantage of the lawless Southern Systems by providing cheap medical care to those who were injured or fell ill due to the lack of restrictions in the systems. However, the company’s ability to create and test medicines, as well as new cybernetics, came from the very market they sought to exploit. The people of Ryloth, mostly slaves and some poor tourists who disappeared from public view, became test subjects to the the corrupt company.
However, when a Sector Zero operative discovered a research facility on Ryloth, the CIS showed the truth to the public. Stocks dropped dramatically, and the company was bought out by a member of the Viceroyalty Diplomatic Service, who promised to reform the company and make it into a legal, profitable company.
RATIONALE
After discovering the illegal actions of Soulife Industries, Natasha released the information to the public, bringing the once-thriving company to its knees. When the company's stock fell, S.T.R.A.S.K, under the guise of a wealthy businessman Iraek Kas’trem, bought up most of the stock, making him the chief shareholder. Using the funds the old man left her, Natasha bought out the company, promising a brighter future to customers. Now, with a new brand identity and new leadership, the company plans to expand to help those in need. Time will tell if they revert back to their old ways.
