  • Educated by elite tutors and instructors while growing up, no expense was spared in her education, which can best be described as a ‘classical education’ while living at Jade Pointe. Vis’ clone genes lent her an exceptional intellect, and she quickly demonstrated proficiency – even excellence – in a variety of academic disciplines.
Collegiate Education –
  • While attending the University of Dagata, Vis distinguished herself in general studies before beginning a degree program in archaeology and social psychology. Having accomplished top honors in these endeavors, she was selected for an accelerated degree program and later, became the graduate research assistant to one of her professors. Together with him, they traveled the galaxy for nearly seven years, conducting research into various Force Traditions, used to author a prominent and well-respected survey of the same which earned her a DSc in this field.

Visanj’s spiritual path is heavily influenced by the folk religion which has grown up on her homeworld of Dagata, where the teachings, life, and example of her ancestor, Shalya Mazah, have left an indelible mark there. As she is fond of saying, “Jedi and Sith are just two sides of the same worthless coin. Using Force Lighting or Force Healing does not make one evil and one good. If you use Force Healing on an enemy who is attacking you, you only increase the likelihood of being defeated, and if you use Force Lightning on a friend who is suffering you only increase their suffering. What makes one good or evil is knowing when to use one or the other and when not to. This is the Force and this is the Grey.”

Visanj's loyalties are not divided, despite her several affiliations. The first three are close allies, whose goals and ideals are aligned at least so far as to ensure harmony between them. As her first loyalty is - and will always be - to Dagata IV and her people, should any of them call for her to abandon her people or her hopes for them, the choice is clear for her. But against evil and in the interests of peace, liberty, and prosperity is where you will always find her. The Sith Empire and their allies will never have her loyalty or support. Visanj knows where she stands, and anyone else occupying that space can be welcome friend.

NPC Crew, a.k.a. "My Family"

Tully, a.k.a Basulla Tularhen: A seasoned veteran and longtime spacer, smuggler, mercenary, and explorer, whose taste for Sabacc cost him his ship. Visanj took pity and offered him a place on the crew, and later saved his life. After that, the two developed a close and inseparable friendship, becoming more akin to partners than captain and crewmember, and Tully serves as the primary pilot and technician aboard the ship. His vast experience and wisdom, coupled with his no-nonsense disposition and abject trustworthiness makes him a respected counselor and crewman.

Aries, a.k.a. AR-135: A long-standing servant to House Mazah-T'shkali, the newly-reconstructed droid is more than 1300 years old, and hasn't seen a memory wipe in almost nine centuries. He has, however, seen pretty much everything else, and brings a wide assortment of skills and experience to the table. Perhaps a bit haughty and temperamental, which is his refined and curmudgeonly Maker-given right given his age, "Bucket" as she calls him, has been a lifelong friend, confidante, and mentor to Visanj. In many ways, he was more of a father to her than her own father ever was. Today, he is majordomo, valet, and personal assistant to Vi, and is solidly at her side .

Sand'rah "Sandy" Giri: This little stray came into Vi's life on the heels of her mother's untimely death. Her mom had been Vi's best friend, and when she died tragically, she left behind a precocious, angsty, and perfectly wonderful sixteen year old daughter. For three years now, "Sandy" has lived aboard Visanj's ship, and she's growing into a fascinating and terrific young woman. Still young, she's learning her place in the universe and how to occupy it, but her adoptive mother couldn't be more proud of her. The Kid's become close to her other crewmates as well, and acts as the ship's medic, apprentice technician, resident slicer, and burgeoning pilot.

Lucky: Lucky's the crew's faithful guard dog, mascot, and all-around cuddle-buddy. The droid looks, feels, and frankly, acts the part of the family dog in every way, that is until you threaten his people, then you might get a brief and very unpleasant first-hand view of some of the incredible things this droid is capable of. A faithful companion to them all, though he's developed a special liking for Sandy. A girl and her dog, what could be more perfect?
